It was 7p.m when Lay's parents called him and told him to bring me back to his house. I was hesitating to go at first but, I would also like to talk to them about this.

We arrived at Lay's bungalow and we were greeted by his butler.

We nervously walked to the dining hall and there I saw his parents waiting for us. "Oh, you two are already here.." Mrs. Zhang smiled. "Sit down, my child" Mr. Zhang invited.

Both of us sat down and the atmosphere became silent.

"Eun Byullie.." Mrs. Zhang called. "Nae, eommoni.." I answered. "Has Yixing told you about.. Our conditions right now?" She asked. "Nae.. I was told ahout that.." I nodded.

"May I say something?" I asked. "What is it, dear?" Mr. Zhang asked.

"I would like to help your company" I said, loud and clear. "What?!" Lay looked at me. His parents stuttered after listening to what I said. "Yes. If all of you are fine with it, please. Let me help your company.." I said.

"Wouldn't it be a burden?" Mrs. Zhang asked worriedly. "Anyimnida. I will help you until you're back in business. And I'm sure Eun Soo oppa will agree on this" I said.

"You don't have to do this" Lay held my hand. "And watch you marry someone else?" I accidentally half-yelled. "Byullie.." Mrs. Zhang came and sat beside me. "We're very happy that you would help us.. But our family, never breaks a promise.." She said.

Her eyes were teary but she never gave up looking at me with full of love.

"I.. I understand.." I slowly nod.

"If that is so, there is nothing else I can do.." I gave them a warm smile.

"We are very sorry, Eun Byul.." Mr. Zhang said. "Anyimnida.." I shook my head. It was hard accepting the fact that I have to break up with the person I love the most. I looked at him who was already crying.

I patted his shoulder and gave him a kiss on the side of his forehead. "You can do this.." I said. He wiped his tears and pulled me up.

"Let's send you home" he said. I smiled and nodded. I looked at Mrs. Zhang who was also crying. I hugged her, as tight as I can and she did the same. "We will make sure both of you to be together in the next life.." She said.

"Thank you for everything, eommoni.." I smiled.

Then I walked to Mr. Zhang. "Abunyim.." I called. He kissed the crown of my head and hugged me. "You are always blessed, my child" he said.

I walked out and didn't look back. For 5 years, they are my parents, all of us were like a family. But in just 10 minutes, that relationship broke.
