Stay Strong

"Have you eaten?" Baekhyun asked. "Not yet.." Eun Byul said. "Great! I picked you up right after I woke up so I haven't eaten anything yet" He pouts.

"Aigoo~ you woke up late?" Eun Byul asked. "I slept at 4 last night" he chuckles. "You should have told me.. I could have just take the cab" Eun Byul feels quite guilty.

"Shireo~ I want to pick you up.. But after this I might continue my sleep kekeke"

"Then let's go and feed your tummy then I'll drive back home.. You can just sleep" I said. "Jinjja? eish but I don't trust your driving skills" He said.

"Bwoyaa" Eun Byul hit his arms. "Arasseo arasseo! Let's have pancake!" He said. "Okay~" She nods.

Baekhyun's POV

"Byullie..?" I called Eun Byul who was playing with her food. "Hmm?" She looked at me. And from that stare I realise, she's not okay.

"Is there something wrong? Why aren't you eating?" I asked. "Oh.. Mianhae.. I was.. I was just thinking about stupid things hehe" She chuckles and starts eating her pancake.

After finishing our food, we went back to Baekhyun's car.

*ring ring*

"Yeobosaeyeo, hyunggieeee" Baekhyun answers his phone. "Oh? Tonight?" He stops and looked at me who was looking outside.

"Oh.. Sure! Yeah, I'll see you tonight" Baekhyun said. "Anyeong" he then hung up.

"Byullie ah.. Umm Minseokie hyung called.. He wants us all to have dinner together.. Would you like to join us? It's okay if you don't want to.. I can just go by myself" Baekhyun said.

I didn't say anything but I only nodded. "So you'll pass?" He asked. "Anyi, I'll go.." I said. "Arasseo.." He nods.

Eun Byul's POV

"Go ahead.. Don't be nervous" Baekhyun said. We were standing in front of my house door. I know my brother is at home too since his car is here.

I took a deep breath before pressing the door bell. Seconds later, the door opened and there he was, my brother, Go Eun Soo.

"BYULLIE!" He shouts. "EUNSOO OPPA!" I hugged him. He hugged me back and raised me from the floor. "God you are hereee!!" He tightens the hug.

"Oh, Baekhyunnie you're here too!" He puts me down and gave Baekhyun a brother hug. "Hehe anyeonghasaeyo, hyung.." Baekhyun greets him politely.

"You knew she was coming back?" Eun Soo asked. "Nae.. But Eun Byul asked me to keep it as a secret.." Baekhyun said. "Gomawo, Baekkie! Come on in" Eun Soo smiled.

"Anyimnida.. I have some work to do at home.." Baekhyun said. "You mean sleep?" I raised my eyebrow. "Shh! Yah~" he hits my arms. "It's okay, it's okay.. Go and have a good rest" Eun Soo said.

We watched Baekhyun return to his house before we went inside.

"Halmunyi!! Eun Byul is home!" My brother shouts. I ran to my grandmother's room and saw her watching television. Of course, another sentimental moment.

"Soo yah~" I said as I flopped onto the couch beside my brother. "How's Japan?" He asked. "Nothing much~ How's Shin Rae?" I smirked.

My brother raised an eyebrowe then ignores my question. "What about you huh? Are you a couple with Baekhyun or what?" He asked.

"Whatttt no! We're obviously just friends" I scoffed. "Dongsaengie, who would take care of someone who he thinks just as a FRIEND so good? He kept on asking me if there's anything to deliver to you so that he could see you, he even woke up so early just to fetch you" Eun Soo said.

"Well, maybe that's because we're CHILDHOOD friends.." I said. Eun Soo gave up as he shook his head. "Whatever you say, dongsaengie" He sighed.

Baekhyun's POV

I was cleaning my room a bit when I saw Eun Byul walking out of her house through my window.

"Oh? Where is she going?" I asked myself.

Being curious and caution, I decided to follow her.. Just to check if she's okay. Of course, the thought of her looking sad at the restaurant earlier makes me worried.

I walked behind her until I saw her taking a left turn to the park. I stopped and just look at her. She sat down and the next thing I knew was, she's crying.

Eun Byul's POV

I was bored at home since halmunyi is sleeping and oppa is not at home so I decided to take a walk. I put on my three quarter black leggings, over-sized off white hoodie and my maroon sneakers.

I was walking and walking, not realising that my body led me to the park. I sat down at the bench near the see-saw when I remembered one thing.

Lay and I sat here the last night we were together. The image of him kissing his wife at the airport quickly came into my mind, disturbing me and that's what made me cry.

I almost cried harder when a pair of hands landed on my shoulder. I look up to see Baekhyun, with a worried face.

"Why are you crying, Eun Byul?" He asked as he kneeled down and wiped my tears. I chuckled and pulled away. "I'm just so happy to be home" I lied.

"Eun Byul, if you're crying because of happiness, it would be at home. Don't lie to me" Baekhyun said.

I sniffed a bit and cried again.

"You were so happy this morning when I called you and when you arrived, you look down. Did something happened on your way here? Why were you suddenly so sad?" He asked.

"I saw Yixing" I said clearly, making him shut up.

"I saw him, Baekhyun. I saw him kissing with his wife. I know I'm not supposed to be jealous about this but I felt broken hearted. I don't know why but it's like being stabbed with millions of sharp knives" I expressed.

"Wait.." I stopped. "You.." I looked at him. "You didn't ask me to go back because you.. You knew... They went.. They went to Japan.. Right?" I stuttered.

Baekhyun held my hands and sighed. "I knew" he said. I was surprised, but I wasn't angry. He did the right thing.

"I'm.. I'm sorry.. Byullie.. I'm really sorry.." He apologised. "Anyi.. It wasn't your fault that I saw them.. You did the right thing by avoiding me to be close to them.." I said.

Baekhyun stood up and sat beside me. "Hey.." He turned my body facing his and hugged me. "Be strong, Byullie..." He rubs my back. "You'll be with me right?" I asked.

"I'll be with you forever.. So stay strong" He said.
