Bonus Chapter: Meeting for Love

A sudden meeting had begun at Fauna's house, with Irys, Bae, Fauna, and Mumei sitting around a table quietly. The table contained the intensity of a Chinese wartime era negotiation table, and the pressure that they were exuding was enough to convince anyone that the world was at stake from their discussion. In front of them sat a warm cup of tea, courtesy of Fauna.

"I went through the trouble of brewing a cup of tea for everyone, and none of you even touched it? You're going to break my poor heart," Fauna complained, but the smirk on her face showed that she wasn't truly angry.

"And how are we supposed to know that you didn't put anything strange in it?" asked Bae with a raised eyebrow.

"I didn't! Besides, my special blend was made specifically for Kronii. These are just the usual tea that I'd made for you guys during meetings, so don't be too reserved and have a taste." Fauna reassured everyone.

"That 'special blend' doesn't make you sound convincing at all, you know? But whatever, I'm sure you're not stupid enough to do something that would make Kronii upset." Irys commented before taking a sip of the tea. The warmth it provided, along with its pleasant taste, was enough to calm Irys down.

"I guess Irys got a point. Just know that if you put anything strange in this, we'll beat your ass." Bae proclaimed.

"Mhm." Mumei also agreed silently, before both of them took a sip of the tea.

A brief period of respite from the tense atmosphere had descended from the tea drinking session, causing everyone to look a bit more relaxed. But considering why they had gathered here, it couldn't be helped that such a tense atmosphere had surrounded them before.

"I'm sure I've already explained why I called for this meeting, but I'll say it again just in case; we need to figure out a way to properly deal with our feelings for Kronii." Mumei reiterated to everyone, which received nods from everyone.

"Agreed. But does anyone even have a plan to deal with this?"

Irys raised a valid question, which left everyone scratching their heads. Although they agreed on finding a way to be with Kronii without upsetting the others, they couldn't find a way that would satisfy them. After all, every single one of them would like to monopolize Kronii as much as they could.

"I have a suggestion." Mumei raised her hand before saying her suggestion, "What if we split Kronii into four?"

"Then I call dibs on her head." Fauna replied without missing a beat.

"Ah, I was too late! I call dibs on the chest!" Irys quickly claimed a different piece right after Fauna.

"Oi oi, why are you guys splitting her like fried chicken?! Stop that! How are we supposed to love her when she's split apart like that?"

Bae retorted after hearing everyone's ridiculous reaction to Mumei's suggestion. How was she supposed to love Kronii when all she had left were her arms and legs?

"Hmm, I guess you're right," Mumei seriously agreed with Bae's opinion. 

For some reason, Bae felt that Mumei only disagreed with her own suggestions because she didn't get to call dibs before the others could. She also decided to not speak up about how Mumei was reaching for something in her bag before Bae retorted to Fauna and Irys.

Everyone racked their brains to figure out a decent outcome instead. After some thought, Bae said the first thing that came to her mind.

"What about letting the person that Kronii loves the most have Kronii? That seems reasonable, right?"

It was a surprisingly normal suggestion. However, her suggestions had triggered a competitive spirit among everyone. Every single one of them wanted Kronii, and none of them were willing to relent.
