Eating me away

I structured this poem a little differently than I normally do

Something inside me is eating me away. Eating my life away. My insides are becoming hallow— loud. Everything crawling inside screams so loud on the outside. Now, I have nothing to block it out. There's nothing left to muffle it's noises. There's nothing else to feel except the pain slowly poisoning my body. Its acid is burning away each bit of my peace. Each bit of my happiness. My insides are bubbling and sizzling. My insides hurt.
