I don't think I've ever been in love
Not they way it is told in a story book
He'll never fall for me upon first look
But who defines what love feels like?
Who gets to tell me how to feel
What's the big deal
Is love the feeling when you just can't breathe
When your heart breaks as you watch them leave
Is love knowing you cannot live without them but knowing you have no choice
When you want to hold them but they are holding another
Or is love the feeling when he feels like a brother
When you've known each other for ever
And there isn't a way it could get any better
Is love the same if there's nothing to gain? Or is love only pain.
