Cause all of the things he does with her are new
He never kissed me softly in the dead of the night
Or been the first to apologize after a fight
He never even initiated a hug goodbye
When we broke up did he even cry?
He is gentle with her when he holds her hand
Does he even understand?
That's all I wanted him to be with me?
To kiss me softly
To hug me goodbye
But instead we broke up and I feel I could die
I bet she doesn't deal with the sleepless nights
Or have to apologize after your fights
She doesn't worry about you leaving to never come back
She doesn't worry about the love you tend to lack
She sees a side of you I never did.
But no she doesn't see all the secrets we hid
Walking down ally's and vandalizing a gas pump
When we would walk close together and against mine your shoulder would bump.
No she doesn't get our 2 am talks
Or the games that we play.
She may have you now but I had you then.
Things don't always work that's why people call it an end.
I saw a side of you she will never see and that was the way it was supposed to be.
