A week has passed since Juliet had first been paired up with Draco and their nightly patrols were nothing but terrible. The conversation was kept to a bare minimum but Juliet had to say, she'd never seen Draco Malfoy talk so much, she barely replied to him but he didn't seem to care, he just kept talking.

Thankfully advanced potions had been going a lot better, she had managed to keep her distance from him, which was hard when you were cramped into a small classroom. Draco's mood towards the class seemed to have changed when Harry Potter and Ron Weasley turned up in their second lesson. The whole golden trio were there and it was obvious how many of the students were marvelling over them. Although, Juliet had never quite understood the fascination, they were just students like anyone else. She of course, had no issues with Hermione, Harry or Ron but they weren't people she associated herself with either.

Juliet tuned back into Slughorn, who had been talking about the potions sat on his desk right now. Polyjuice potion, draught of living death and of course, amortentia. Juliet knew them all, she'd studied them, probably way ahead of her time.

"Miss Walter's...please can you come and smell the amortentia and tell me what you smell in it?" Slughorn was an older man. Rumour had it that he'd taught the Tom Riddle. He had the kind of face that made you feel as if you could ask him anything, tell him anything and somehow that reminded Juliet of her own father.

"Yes sir" Juliet smiled softly and took a few steps forward. She knew that the whole class was watching her, which meant that he was watching her. She leant her body over the pink potion, the pearlescent steam floated up her nostrils. Mint, green apples and the fresh air of the night. Juliet furrowed her eyebrows, she didn't know where any of those scents could have come from. "Uh-mint, green apples and the way the fresh air smells at dusk" Juliet cleared her throat before taking a few steps back, she kept her gaze down, feeling embarrassed that she'd just told the whole room what she found attractive.

If only Juliet would have lifted her head, she would have seen Draco Malfoy, looking at her with wide eyes and parted lips. He knew. He knew what she'd smelt because two of those scents were things he was familiar with and even though she hadn't figured it out yet. He'd make sure she did. As for him, even from here, he could smell the strong scent of Juliet's perfume, the same one that often lingered around her frame when they walked the halls at night. Floral and fruity. He could also make out fresh parchment, which made a lot of sense to him, she was a Ravenclaw. But the last thing, he could smell the crisp air. The same thing that Juliet herself had smelt.

Draco removed his eyes from the brunette girl and focused back in on Slughorn. Willing for this lesson to be over, so that he could escape the intoxicating scent that filled his nostrils.

Juliet was enraged by the end of class, when new comer and most definitely dumber than her, Harry Potter had won Slughorn's grand prize. A bottle of Felix Felicis or, liquid luck. Knowing her luck, her new professor would be another one who fawned over potter for just simply existing.

The small girl, fled from the room quickly, walking with heavy feet as she sought out her bestfriend. She just needed a bit of Eleanor White positivity right now. As she stormed down the corridor and rounded the corner, she wasn't paying attention to her surroundings, too busy throwing insults about potter around in her head, that she crashed straight into someone's chest. Although it felt like a brick wall.

"Asshole" she cursed under her breath but when she looked up and was met with green eyes and curly hair, she cursed herself.

"Hello, Walter's. We meet again" Theodore nott crossed his arms over his chest, a sinister smirk covering his face. Juliet suddenly felt small, metaphorically and literally.

"Sorry about that Nott" Juliet gulped as she climbed to her feet, dusting herself off with her hands. As she looked up once more, the boy kept taking steps forward. Closer and closer until he was guiding her backwards with just the movement of his body. Juliet suddenly found herself backed against the wall, in the corner of the corridor, hidden behind a stone pillar.

"W-what are you doing?" Juliet's voice shook as she spoke, fear coursing through her body.

"I didn't get to finish teaching you a lesson the other might" Theodore tilted his head to the side and narrowed his eyes, as if he was inspecting her.

As he was distracted by staring at every detail of her face, Juliet slowly moved her hand to the waistband of her skirt. Wrapping her hand around the handle of her wand, the wood felt warm against her cold hands. She slowly started to raise it upwards, removing it from the safety of her clothes but as if Theodore had some sort of wand sensor, his hand instantly found her wrist, gripping it tight.

"You silly little girl, did you really think that....that would work?" His grip tightened, almost an alarming amount and Juliet winced in pain, her hand was turning a shade of blue. Theodore snatched her wand from her with his left hand, twirling it between his fingers. "Hm, unicorn hair" Theo muttered under his breath. How ironic, I know someone else with the exact same core.

"W-what do you want" Juliet's whole body was trembling. She'd never felt more scared in her life. One thing she'd learnt about Theodore nott, was that he was unpredictable.

"For you, to stop speaking out of turn. You think you're so much better than all of us. All you Ravenclaw's are the same" Theodore's hand moved to the base of Juliet's neck and slowly slid to the top of it. His cold rings dug into her skin as she felt his hand tightening. Restricting the air flow to her lungs. "Guess what...you'll be first one I come for when the day comes little Walter's" Juliet didn't know what he meant. What day?. But she couldn't concentrate, her head was spinning, the lack of oxygen was alarming to her and she was begging Theo with her eyes, to please let her go. Was this how she was going to die?. Juliet could feel herself losing consciousness, flitting between the darkness and the light and just as she was about to give in....

"Let. Her. Go" that voice.

"Hello Malfoy" Theo turned his head to the side but kept his hand in place.

"I said. Let her go. Now" Draco's wand was pointed directly at Nott's chest. He kept his hand steady as he flickered his eyes onto Juliet. Her skin had turned a shade of purple and her eyes were fluttering open and closed. He gulped as he thought about the bruising that would cover her neck.

"Now Theo!" Draco lost his patience. Any longer and she would die.

"Fine" Theo removed his hand and as he did, Juliet's body fell forward. She hadn't realised that she wasn't supporting her own weight anymore as her knees collided with the floor. Coughs erupted from her throat and she tried to suck in the oxygen she needed.

"Go. Now." Draco spat as he watched an amused smirk cover Theo's face before he turned around, shoving his hands into his pockets and walked away.
