Chapter 7

Cameron**
Boy was I mad when I found out two of my supposed-to-be friends told Emily what they did. I was okay with Emily coming to practice with me. I walked into the locker room and soon as I did. Mason and John asked how I was doing since I got back. "Why does it matter to you," I said with an attitude. I saw my mother looking at me when I walked over to my locker and started to get dressed. "Is everything okay" My mom walked up to me asking. I told her everything was fine and walked away. Once we were all out on the field we all went into two teams to practice. Jason threw the ball at me and I hit the ball so hard with so much anger towards Mason. My mom started to notice I was pretty pissed off because I was trying to make the ball hit either Mason or John
My mom called the team up and pulled me to the side asking what was going on but I lied and said everything was fine. "Can you try not to hit me this time?" Mason said to me when I was walking back. I stopped dead in my tracks and turned around. I turned around throwing the ball and hitting him in the chest, "What the hell Cameron" John yelled at me. "Yeah, what the hell John," I said back to him. " Boys stop, what is going on" my mom asked. Both John and Mason said they didn't know. I couldn't hold it back anymore. I walked up to both Mason and John and punched them both. Jason and a few of the other teammates had to break us up. Once we were broken up I saw Emily out on the field asking me what was going on. I could tell in my mom's eyes she was mad but also worried about what was going on. "Next time don't go telling my girlfriend fucking lies," I said as I grabbed Emily and walked away.
As I was walking away I heard my mother telling everyone practice was over and how she told them not to ever have my name in their mouths. I knew I was probably going to get into a lot of trouble when I got home but it was worth it. Emily and I were sitting in the car quietly when she asked me if was I okay. I didn't say anything I just looked at her for a while and then kissed her. After kissing her she looked at me and asked "Does this mean I'm your girlfriend again". I couldn't help but smile as I said yes to her. I didn't come home til late. When I walked into the house I saw my mother and Father sitting at the table waiting for me to come home. "Are you okay, what is going on with you?" my mom said as she gave me a big hug. I sat down and told my parents everything that was going on and what happened. My mom was glad Emily and I worked everything out but she was mad at me for punching Mason and John.
I didn't get in trouble for what I did but my parents told me next time to come to them instead of hitting someone. My mom said she would take care of the meeting with the principal about everything that happened. After the meeting with the principal, my mom walked up to me telling me she handled everything, I was glad I didn't get into trouble. I walked over to Emily telling her everything my mother said. I walked my girlfriend to her first class when the bell rang. "I love you," she said before kissing me. I told her I loved her too and walked to my classroom. I was bored sitting in class texting Emily when I decided that I wanted to do something romantic. I walked out of the classroom once class was over and walked to my mom's office. I told my mom my idea and asked if she could help me with it. I was so excited when she told me she would be very happy to help me.
I had school that day. I decided to tell Emily I was busy with things with my mom. Me and my mom went shopping for a few things after school. When I got home, I took everything straight out of my room and started working on my idea. I didn't get to take only to the prom last year because I didn't know her at the time but this year I was gonna make it special. This was mine and her year and I was gonna make the best of it. Emily called and texted a few times, but I was too busy with my idea to even notice. I was so tired after making the poster and putting everything I could into it to make it look cute. I didn't know if she was going to say yes or no but I was hoping she would say yes and love it. After taking a shower I fell straight to sleep. I didn't even have to take my nighttime pills for me to fall asleep. One thing about Emily is I plan to be different from when I was with Ava. I really didn't do too many romantic things for her like I'm trying to with Emily. Ava used to always tell me that she left because the romance and magic were gone. I don't want that to be the reason Emily leaves me.
The next day I saw Emily at her locker. I walked up to her giving her the biggest kiss ever. "What was that for" she asked me. I told her nothing just that I loved her. Emily brought out a side of me I never knew I had. "Meet me later, in front of the baseball field," I told her as I kissed her walking away. I had something to take care of. I walked up to Jason and asked him to help me with something. When I told Jason what I was doing he was so happy and excited that he got to help. As Jason and I were getting everything ready, He turned and looked at me as he said "I'm glad to see you happy". I was really happy with Emily more than I ever was with Ava and the fact that everyone could tell was pretty amazing.
