Emily**
I felt something when Cameron kissed me. I just wish he didn't walk away and that he talked to me but I understand why he didn't. I did tell him to leave me alone. I tried to call and text him after he walked away but he never responded or answered. I was hoping to talk to him at school but he wasn't with his teammates or by his locker. I got to first period hoping he was in there but he wasn't. After class started a few minutes later his mother the coach walked in. I overheard her tell the teacher that Cameron was out sick.
After class was out I decided since he wasn't at school for me to talk to him I would skip my next period and go to his house. I got into my car and drove to his house. I could see his car in the driveway when I pulled up. I knocked on the door but there wasn't an answer. I knocked again because I heard someone in there. "Come on Cameron open the door," I said hoping he would hear me. A few minutes later the door opened. "What do you want Emily" a voice from the door said. "Can we talk please?" I asked Cameron as I saw it was him at the door. I could tell he didn't want to talk.
Cameron let me in the house finally after trying to get him to talk to me. "Why did you kiss me and leave" I asked him hoping for an explanation. The only thing he could say was that he didn't know and he wouldn't make any eye contact with me. It hurt me that he was acting this way. "You don't know why you kissed me," I asked. "No I don't," he said. I was done trying to get him to talk to me. "I liked that you kissed me," I said walking to the door. When I went to open the door he grabbed my arm and pulled me close to him. "I would like to kiss you again," he said as I was standing very close to him. "I would like that," I said. Cameron kissed me and I kissed him back. We stood there kissing for a while.
He invited me up to his room after a long time kissing. "Why aren't you in school" I asked him. "I didn't want to face what happened," he said. I knew he wasn't sick. I didn't know what this meant but whatever it was I liked it. Cameron and I laid on his bed cuddling and kissing. We were making out when his mother opened his bedroom door. I got scared and jumped up as I said "I'm sorry Mrs brooks". I didn't know what to say honestly. Cameron was laughing at how I was acting. "Call me Rebecca, Emily we aren't at school," she said back to me. "Let me guess your girlfriend will be joining us for dinner I hope," Rebecca said as she walked away.
"I didn't know I was your girlfriend," I said to Cameron as I sat back on his bed. "Would you like to be?" he asked as he was looking at me. Of course, I would like to be his girlfriend I was shocked that he even asked me. I smiled at him and told him I would love that. After making it official he kissed me once again. Who knew I would ever get a boyfriend this cute or in this type of way? I decided to stay for dinner with my new boyfriend's family. After dinner, Cameron walked me outside and kissed me goodbye before he walked back inside his house.
The next day Cameron picked me up for school. As I got into the car he kissed me. I loved the feeling I got when our lips touched. We got to school and he walked me to my locker which was not far from his. "Hey Cameron, hey new girl," his friend Jason said as he walked up to us. "Please don't call my girlfriend the new girl. Call her by her name Emily" Cameron said to his friend Jason. It seemed to shock him when he called me his girlfriend. "Cameron has a girlfriend, that's new," he said as he walked away. I didn't know what he meant by that. "What does he mean by that" I asked Cameron. "I haven't had a girlfriend since Ava which was four years ago," he told me. I just assumed he hadn't been with anyone since then.
After school, I stayed and watched my boyfriend's baseball practice. His first game was coming up and I knew practice was something he needed to do before the big game. I could see Jason and my boyfriend talking in the dugout but I couldn't hear what they were talking about. I didn't know who the girl was that walked up to my boyfriend. She was a beautiful long hair blonde girl. I figured a fan or something because she wasn't from our school. Once the practice was over I waited for my boyfriend to come out of the locker room when two of his baseball teammates came out. They saw me standing there waiting. "You're going to be waiting a while, Cameron is talking to Ava," one of them said to me. I didn't know who Ava was until the other guy told me it was my boyfriend's ex-girlfriend. I wasn't really worried until one said Ava might try to get back with Cameron.
Cameron finally came out of the locker room. I asked him who that girl was that was talking to him earlier in the dugouts. "No one baby, are you ready to go" he said. I told him I was ready but I didn't know why he said Ava was no one. Maybe it was because Ava was nothing to him anymore or he just didn't want me to know. I told my boyfriend I had to go home and my mom called me. I didn't like the fact she said that she was nothing when I knew that was her ex-girlfriend. Once I got home I went upstairs to my room and decided to do some research on Ava. I saw that Ava still has pictures of her and Cameron on her social media.
After a while of looking through Ava's pictures and posts, I saw that she posted about being out with Cameron. It pissed me off seeing my boyfriend out with his ex-girlfriend. I felt like he was lying and cheating on me. The next day I decided to ignore Cameron the whole day. I didn't know what to say to him after seeing that. After school, I went straight home. I didn't even wait for him. Cameron called and texted but I didn't answer his messages or calls. My mom asked why I wasn't hanging out with my boyfriend but I told her that Cameron had a long practice I didn't want to tell her what was really going on.
The next day I decided I was done. I walked up to Cameron at his locker. He tried to kiss me but I moved away from the kiss. "What's wrong," he asked me. "I don't think this is working anymore," I told him. My heart broke as I told him this. I was falling in love with this boy and it felt like he was just playing my heart with hanging out with his ex and lying about it. I didn't give him an explanation as to why I was breaking up with him, I just walked away after telling him it was over between him and me. I honestly didn't want it to be over but I just couldn't compete with his ex.
