Steven Universe: Dragonstone

Catching the Dragon

Third Pov
Beach

We see the beach of beach city quiet with the soft crash of waves on the shore before a shadow flashes over the sand toward the beach house and a winged figure stands by the door before opening it. We see Steven sleeping on his bed quietly

Lapis: she stood over Steven and tapped him. Whispers "Steven. Are you alive?" She dropped a water ball on him

Steven: gasps and sits up "Ah, I'm drowning!" He sees lapis and his eyes widen "Lapis! You're okay and you're not gone!"

Lapis: "How could I leave? Dragonstone needs my help more than ever." She crossed her arms and looked away "It should have been me to fuse with Jasper not him..." she wiped a tear away

Steven: "It's okay! Dragonstone is perfectly fine, he's in control of Jasper...but he kind of refused my help, he said we should find you." He looked at her

Lapis: "I know where they are. Unakite is at the bottom of a trench, but they're getting worse. They're becoming more Unakite than Dragonstone or Jasper...and I don't know how to help." She collapsed to her knees "You are the only ones I could turn to."

Steven: "Hey, it's okay..." he approached lapis and pat her back "Since you know where they are we can find them!"the gems warped in

Pearl: "Still no sign of them and these seismic quakes are getting worse!" The beach house suddenly shook

Garnet: "It must have something to do with Unakite. They're way to unstable, especially with Dragonstone's power being expelled."

Amethyst: "Isn't it like super dangerous for him to do that though? That red energy is like cosmic radiation or something." She shrugs

Pearl: "It's more than that, he can release his energy into planets with pulses which effects planetary stability..." she looks down "Unakite is releasing the energy and causing the planet to experience disastrous phenomena." She looked to stevens room looking at Lapis and Steven

Amethyst: "Uh...Steven, is that..."

Garnet: "Lapis!" Summons her gauntlets as the other two summon their weapons as well

Steven: "Nooooo!" He grabbed Lapis's wrist and ran down his stairs to the living area "She knows where Unakite is!"

Pearl: "Wh-what?" Amethyst charges Lapis

Amethyst: "Where?! We have to go right now!" Lapis hid behind Steven

Steven: "Wait! She'll explain everything..." the earth began to shake violently again "Uh, Lapis can you make it quick though?"

Lapis: "Right..." she stepped forward and looked down "I'm only helping you because Dragonstone told me to come here, so don't think we're friends." She sighs "Unakite is at the bottom of the ocean holding himself inside of a trench. He's using any and all the power he gains to hold Unakite back, Jasper isn't a problem but Unakite is."

Garnet: "I see. Dragonstone and Unakite have formed a split mind, Unakite is formed out of the negative emotions of Jasper and Dragonstone towards each other, while Dragonstone is trying to keep their fusion back, basically they are forcefully fused. They've been fused for so long that Unakite has been fighting to be the primary conscious, meaning Dragonstone has successfully held Jasper's influence back. He's most likely using the little control and power he has to use his gem and powers as a last ditch effort to contain Unakite."

Pearl: she covers her mouth with her hand "Which means that Dragonstone can't split away from Jasper and can't regenerate his power due to the constant struggle of control..." she gasps "So if this carries on then..."
