Lapis, Peridot and I were at the beach house to watch the town, the two wanted to go to the bathroom as I followed where we watched Peridot climb in the toilet, suddenly Connie bursts into the bathroom and swipes her sword. She then pauses when she sees Lapis and Peridot, in the toilet, inside.

Peridot: angrily "Uhh, don't you knock?"

Lapis: frowns "Weirdo."

Dragonstone: I had my arms crossed over my chest "Hello, Connie."

Connie: confused "Lapis? Peridot? Dragonstone? What are you doing here?" She lowered her sword

Peridot: climbs out the toilet, smiling "Just showing off my old room to- Oh wait, actually that's none of your business!" She shouted out

Lapis: looks to Dragonstone "Who is this? And what is she doing in Steven's house?" Holds Dragonstone's arm

Dragonstone: I looks around for pumpkin while speaking "Steven's girlfriend." Connie blushes

Peridot: nods in agreement "Yep! That's Steven's third best friend, after me and you."

Connie: confused "Umm... Lapis. You don't remember me?" Steps into the bathroom

Lapis: tilts her head "Umm..." she thinks

Connie: deadpanning "You almost drowned me when you tried to steal the world's water?"

Lapis: looks away "I almost drowned a lot of people."

Connie: smiles friendly "I'm Connie."

Peridot: Runs over "I'm Peridot! And this is our Pumpkin!" Pumpkin pops out from a laundry basket nearby and barks at Connie.

Dragonstone: smiles softly "There she is."

Connie: lights up with a smile "Oh. Hello!" Pumpkin barks excitedly at Connie.

Change Into Beach House

Connie carries Pumpkin in her hands and sits on the living room couch with Dragonstone Lapis and Peridot.

Connie: she starts conversation "So, Steven told me you guys retired to the country. What brings you here?"

Peridot: proudly "Garnet trusted us with a mission!"

Connie: "Oh, Steven gave me one too. I just hope I don't let him down." Smiles wearily

Peridot: says plainly "You probably will. That's why they put us in charge of protecting Beach City." Dragonstone sighed heavily, feeling something coming on

Connie: looks hurt "But, Steven asked me to do that."

Lapis: she says rudely "You really think we need your help?"

Dragonstone: I shake my head "Sorry to be blunt, Connie, but Steven probably asked you that in a rush without thinking it through, you're strong, but a gem threat isn't your level."

Peridot: realises something "Wait a minute. Maybe we do need your help. The Crystal Gems have been protecting this world with a specialized team! Three Gems, each with their own role. And a human! Well, Steven's only half human, but hmm, close enough."

Lapis: her brow furrows "Mmm... Meaning?"

Dragonstone: "Oh boy..." I lay back on the sofa, closing my eyes "Just start the shenanigans so we can reach the conclusion to this headache."
