Sunset
At the Barn

Lapis and I were sitting watching the sunset with the other gems while taking a break from the drill before peridot began shouting in the background with Steven as I turned and tilted my head

Dragonstone: "What are those two doing?"

Lapis: she rolled her eyes and made her face him "Relax." She chuckled as Steven began to sing his song to peridot and we kept staring out into the sunset

Dragonstone: I hummed stevens song "It's pretty catchy." I chuckled

Timeskip-nighttime
Still at the barn

Peridot: she stood in front of the group "🎶I guess we're already here, I guess we already know. We've all got something to fear. We've all got nowhere to go🎶" Pearl and Garnet gave each other concerned looks while Dragonstone and lapis chuckled "🎶I think you're all insane! But I guess I am too...anybody would be if they were stuck on earth with you.🎶" Steven chuckled

Steven: "Yes!"

The next day
At the barn

We were all busy doin*our part to build the drill while Steven was singing his song and everyone was joining in

Steven: "🎶Life and Death and Love and Birth and...🎶"

Amethyst: "🎶Life and Death and Love and Birth and...🎶" while mashing a sheet of metal with a mallet

Pearl: "🎶Life and Death and Love and Birth and Peace and War on the planet earth🎶" while doing wiring with Peridot

Garnet: "🎶Is there anything that's worth more?🎶" while lifting up the drill head

Steven: "🎶Is there anything that's worth more...🎶" while Peridot's explaining to the gems

Dragonstone & Lapis: "🎶Is there anything that's worth more than Peace and Love on the planet Earth.🎶" the two were carrying object and bumped into each other as they laugh and hug

Timeskip-Nighttime
At the barn

We all stood in front of the finished drill while Steven stared at it in Awe and Garnet pat peridot on the back

Garnet: "Nice work." Peridot freaked out and stood defensively while the gems looked at each other and all laughed with Dragonstone letting out a light chuckle

Dragonstone: "This was actually one of my better days." I smile

Lapis: she leans on his shoulder "Well, aren't you lucky?" She giggles

Peridot: Steven hugged her from behind "W really did it, huh?"

Steven: gasps "We?"

Peridot: gasps "Wait..." she runs off to the drill and climbed inside "I need to check something!"

Steven: "She's come so far." Holds his chin and smiles "Feels like yesterday she was trying to kill us."

Pearl: "No, no, that was several weeks ago." She says matter of factly before they heard peridot inside the drill talking about coordinates

Peridot: pops her head out "We still need the Cluster's exact coordinates in order to drill!"

Pearl: thinks "There's a diamond base that may hold that information, but getting there is going to be difficult."

Steven: "How come?"

Pearl: "Because it's not accessible by warp pad, and it's on..." she looked up at the moon as Steven gasped

Steven: "The moon?!"

Pearl: "Yes, Steven, the moon."

Dragonstone: "You know the drill, I'm not going. No pun intended." I crossed my arms

Lapis: "Hm? Why not?"

Steven: "Yeah! Why wouldn't you want to go to THE MOON!" He shouts while looking at Dragonstone

Pearl: "Well..." she looks up and sighs "Dragonstone doesn't necessarily like to go near any diamond related locations." She chuckles

Garnet: "It is what humans would call "a trigger"."

Amethyst: "Yeah, he gets all quiet and angry, like a...total jerk." She snorts and laughs

Peridot: "Then it's settled, we will go to the moon without the Lapis and Dragonstone!" She hopped out of the drill head "Now, how do we get there?"

Steven: "I know just the guy..." he ran towards lion who was napping "Lion, can you make us a super portal to the moon?" Lion growled and shifted "a come on, it's to save the earth! Without it, you can't hang out with your best buds, no lion lickers. No naps?" Lion got up and Steven fell back "I guess it was naps." They five of them got on lion's back

Dragonstone: "Please keep an eye on Steven." I looked at the gems

Lapis: "We wouldn't want him to die up there." She laughs and snorts before lion runs and opens a portal as they entered it and disappeared "They didn't laugh at my joke..."

Dragonstone: "I think those are meant to be funny...but it was pretty clever." I smiled and gave a soft chuckle before walking toward the barn

Lapis: "So, what's your problem with the diamonds?" She followed him

Dragonstone: "Well, primarily it's because they could still control me if they were to find me, no matter what, I can't break that control." I say with a serious tone

Lapis: she looks surprised "Wait...go back a bit, the diamonds can still control you if they saw fit?" She moved in front of him to stop him from walking "How did you manage to leave out such a massive detail?"

Dragonstone: "It's not a detail, it's a weakness. It's like the one detail from my past that I despise so greatly. But, it's something that can't do much harm, the diamonds would never come here. Not even for me."

Lapis: she looks away "Yeah...not even for you..." Dragonstone notices her tone and her behaviour that looks like she's hiding something

Dragonstone: "Is something the matter?" I look at her face but she doesn't look me in the eyes "Lapis, what's bothering you?" I narrow my eyes

Lapis: "Its nothing." She looks at him and smiles "Just thinking about how we became Malachite and got a little...uh...shy!" She smiles widely with a guilty look in her eyes

Dragonstone: "Uh...yeah..." i narrowed my eyes even more

Timeskip—later
Still at the barn

The gems returned with lion and seemed like they had some kind of tension between them and peridot as the green gem ran into the barn while holding something in her hand

Dragonstone: "Peculiar..." I looked around for lapis 'Wasn't she inside the barn?' I thought to myself

Amethyst: "Yo! What's wrong, Dragonstone?" She walked up to him

Pearl: "Sorry we took so long, Peridot got us sidetracked with stuff of the past." She rolled her eyes

Garnet: "But it's over now." They noticed his silence and Garnet shifted her shades "Is something bothering you?"

Dragonstone: "No. Just a little clouded by all this Cluster talk." I looked into the barn doors where Peridot went in 'What are you two hiding.' I thought to myself
