I was taking some time away from the barn in order to be with the gems and Steven now that Steven is finding out more about he truths of the gem war, I was alone at the temple while the other three gems had gone on a small mission and Steven was having a "movie night" with his father

Dragonstone: I walked over to my temple door as it turned pitch black an disappeared like ashes, giving way into my room "I missed this place, more than I care to admit." I walked to the lava column that ran down from Garnet's room above "Where are you..."

???: "Dragonstone..." he looked around frantically, before his mind flickered with multiple images, Steven standing in a grassy plain "Dragonstone..." the voice became clearer, more feminine, another glimpse came through of a pink palanquin being surrounded by overgrown plants "Dragonstone!" Three figures appeared in his head, Steven, rose and a shady one

Dragonstone: I held my head and yelled out "STOP!" I felt my fist hit against something as I broke from my thoughts to see I had driven my fist into one of the crystal formations on the cavern wall, seeing three split images of myself "What's happening...?" I suddenly heard Steven and Greg outside as I left my room, standing by the beach house door

Steven: from outside, he stood on the steps up to the house "Dad, can I ask you something?" Turns to his father

Greg: "Yeah, of course."

Steven: asks hesitantly "Did mom ever talk to you about, Pink Diamond?" Dragonstone was listening from behind the door as his eyes widened and turned a glowing crimson lacking his pupils

Greg: puts his hand behind his head "There were some things your mom didn't like to talk about. I never pressed her for the details." He admits with a shrug

Steven: dejectedly "Why not?"

Greg: he frowns sorrowfully, before smiling "Rose and I talked about tons of important stuff." Sits next to Steven on the steps "Music, comic books, getting sand between your toes. You know, feelings!" Looks Steven "We both made a lot of mistakes when we were young, I thought disco was coming back, she started a war." Looks up "I think she felt like she had to confess everything to me, but I told her, "the past is the past."." Puts his arm around Steven "All that matters to me is who you are now, and who she was, was an incredible, loving being." Steven smiles and looks down at his belly, before hugging Greg, meanwhile inside, Dragonstone let the words pull over his mind

Dragonstone: I stood in place, the words "incredible, loving being." running in my mind on an endless loop 'Rose...' I thought of her name in my mind, before glimpses of suppressed memories crossed my mind

Memories of Rose: the memories flooded his mind, first being rose standing behind him, before wrapping her arms around his neck "Protect us, Dragonstone." The echoing voice made his eyes flicker from blank to having pupils over and over

Dragonstone: I feel a wetness running down my cheeks "Make it stop!"

Memory: Another memory appeared of Rose in a diamond base with Dragonstone alone "You will do as I say, destroy everything." The shadow of Dragonstone gripping his head in the memory and groaning, before taking on his dragon form, a slip occurs and Rose is seen standing over Dragonstone "Forget what happened here."

Dragonstone: I stumbled across the beach house, going back into my room as the door closed behind me and I collapsed "Who's memories are these...?"

Memory: Dragonstone can be seen holding a gem in his hand in a destroyed area as Rose walks toward him "Shatter it." Dragonstone looks at the blue teardrop-shaped gem as he crushed it in his hand
