Chapter 1: A sin

Yuri's POV

What a day to go back to my room and get inside my cozy bed and watch my favourite show while having my snacks!

"Ugh! I hate rainy days!" A girl standing beside me whines before she opens her umbrella and starts walking away.
I shrugged a little with a smile 'I mean it's okay if she doesn't appreciate nature's beauty because I do'

I waited for the bus to arrive while I went through my messages even if I got none to text me.
I have drastically failed to make friends with anyone this year. I did get along with a popular group previous year but I poorly failed to be one of their "gossip girls" group. I decided not to get into any trouble because if I did I would've been told to get my parents which I don't have, only if my aunt wants to join this "parents meeting" which I know she would want to kill me right there?

My attention got back when I heard the bus's tier shrieked out loud.
I walked up and sat at the window seat because why not?

I took out my keys while I tried to answer my manager's call and took the stairs to my room.
"Yes Mrs. Hemilton, sure I'll be there by 11 tomorrow-" As soon as I hung up the call I let out a groan. "Why?" I whined. Tomorrow's Sunday and all I wanted was to stay inside my room and sleep all day? But damn I need to go to library again tomorrow!

I was whining inside my head while I lazily dragged my feet towards my door before I hear two men passed by me. And dear Lord I couldn't help but turned back and take a look at the man beside mr. Sean? Who was this man to make me feel in that way? I thought trendy hoodies didn't suited late twenties men but here we are....

Before I could look at him for once he was already gone and left me with so many mixed emotions. "Am I.... admiring a man who looks so much older than me? Did I.....lose my brain cells or something?" I scoffed at myself thinking sometimes my hormones act too much.

And I got inside the room with a heavy heart because I'll have to miss my sleep tomorrow because of my job.
