The sun grew higher and higher as the 5 drove back through Vegas, needing to get Phil's and Brooklyn's van back.

Phil drove the limo as Alan sat in the passenger seat. He did call it after all.

Stu and Brooklyn sat with Doug in the back, conversing with him as he slowly recovered from the last 3 days.

Brooklyn was just happy they were all safe, despite some minor injuries and major fatigue.

Phil kept his eyes on the road as he drove, looking out for pawn shop from the night before and his van parked out front of it, and soon coming across it.

He pulled over, turning the engine off with a sigh as he put it in park before looking back through the divider through the rear view mirror. "Everybody okay?" He calmly asked.

Stu and Doug slowly nodded. "Yeah."

"Babe?" Phil asked next, requesting Brooklyn to answer. To which she nodded with a yawn as Phil then asked Alan if he was okay.

Alan nodded sadly, looking at his feet. "Yeah," He answered, glancing at Phil.

"Good. Let's go home," Phil then stated, and the 5 got out of the limo, walking across the street to the minivan. "Jesus Christ," Phil muttered, taking in the state Chow left the minivan in as he unlocked it.

"You know what, guys? You can go ahead without me," Alan spoke up from the back seat behind the passenger. "There's something need to do," He trailed off, looking up at the pawn shop with some sort of determination.

Doug and Brooklyn gave him a confused look as Stu tilted his head. "Do you even know how to get home?" He asked.

Alan turned towards the 4. "Of course, I do. I'm a grown man. I'll ask a stranger," He answered.

The group felt a sense of pride for Alan. Seems like he grew up more over the last 3 days than he had in 30 years.

Phil gave him a smile, his pride for the man evident as he nodded. "Good luck, Alan," He smiled, Alan reciprocating. "We'll see you soon."

Before Alan left, Brooklyn grabbed him by the back of his shirt. "Hold on a second," She said, making Alan turn to face her. "Alan, I should have done this way sooner, but I want to apologize for being such a bitch to you over the last 4 years. Despite what you've done to make our lives hell, you didn't deserve to be treated like that," She apologized, sheepishly looking at the ground. "Can you forgive me?" She asked.

Alan didn't answer immediately, instead he thought about her words before smiling back at her. "Yes. I can," He nodded, setting a hand on Brooklyn's shoulder. "Thank you for the apology," He thanked, making Brooklyn bite her lip.

"Thank you for accepting it," She smiled, before then making the decision to open her arms for a hug. Alan just gave her a confused look.

"Thought you didn't like hugs," He recalled, but Brooklyn shook her head slightly.

"I'll allow it this time."

Alan's small smirk grew into a massive smile as he embraced the Captain, tightly holding onto her for a couple seconds before letting her go.

"Goodbye, Alan," Brooklyn nodded slightly, Alan gave her a small nod as well before stepping into the position of a salute.

"Permission to wish you and Phil a happy life together?" He asked, which made Brooklyn smirk before saluting as well.

"Permission granted."

"I hope you the best. And I wish you the best with your future children as well if you do have any," Alan listed, making Brooklyn smile.
