Chapter 4: let them know they're on your mind

Matt POV:

I walk to my next class thinking about Gus. Hold on What!? Why am I thinking about him. We just met literally like an hour ago. But he's just so amazing. His just so perfect.

As I'm walking to my class I feel as if people are watching me. And if they are it's probably because of my outfit. I start to get uncomfortable and pull down my shirt down. Thinking about how much I was made fun of at my old school, when everyone found out I was gay. 

I keep walking to my math class trying to clear the thoughts from my head. When I get there, I'm greeted by a teacher.

"Hello, you can sit were ever you would like." the teacher says with a genuine smile.

I nod my head and sit in a seat near the back.

The class go's by fast with the teacher talking about herself and the rules.

When the bell rings I start walking to the cafeteria. As I'm walking, I see Gus at his locker. He turns around and sees me walking. And I act as if I didn't see him standing there.

"Oh, hey Matt." Gus says.

"Hi." I say.

"You have Lunch, right."

"Yeah, I do."

"Well, you can sit with me if you want."

"Sure."

We get to the cafeteria, and I see it's not as big as I thought. And I get less nervous.

"So where do you want to sit." Gus says.

"Umm anywhere is fine." I say.

He points to a random table with no people and shrugs his shoulders.

We walk over to the table and sit down.

"So, Matt what do you think of the school so far." Gus says breaking the between silence us.

"Well, it's better than my other school. So far at least."

This chapter was really short because I don't even know how to make friends so I'm trying to make the interactions between them normal, I guess but idk. :p
