Caity and Grant one-Shot

Caity and Grant are friends but Grant loves her and Caity knows but she is married (for now) Grant was Married but got divorced. 

Caity was hanging out with some Arrowverse stars when she had an announcement so she stood up "Everyone I have something to say" Caity said and they all looked at her "go on Caity" Stephen said "I am pregnant and you lot are first to find out before my husband" Caity told them with a smile on her face. Grant looked sad a bit and Caity saw she felt bad too as she knew Grant loved her and how close they were in friendship. "Well congrats Caity so happy for you and Kyle" said Katie Cassidy hugging her on-screen sister and even off-screen they had that sibling relationship.  "Thank you Katie" smiled Caity hugging back before they carried on and saw Grant outside looking from the balcony and both Stephen and Katie looked at Caity as they too knew about Grant's feelings for Caity.

Caity walked out to see a friend "I am sorry Grant" said Caity and without looking "It's not your fault you have been married for a year only time it will happen" stated Grant. "I know but still I know this is weird between us with your feelings for me and I know and the things I say about me and Kyle and my happy but not for you" spoke Caity "no it's not but it hurts because after my divorce with Andrea I thought I was better alone but then we got closer and I saw a different side and you became one of my best friends and right then I feel for you bad and seeing you with him well it may sound some teenage crap from me but why can't that be me" Grant says sadly. Caity walked over and placed a hand on his cheek "I am sorry" said Caity "you are one of my best friends I don't want to lose you" she said. "I need time maybe it's childish but it's what I need" Grant told her and she nodded. 

Caity drove home and entered the house when she heard a noise she went upstairs "Kyle are you home I have good news I am pregnant" said a happy Caity and she opened the bedroom only to see Kyle with another woman "KYLE WHY I AM PREGNANT AND YOU CHEAT ON ME WHY GET THE FUCK OUT I HATE YOU" shouted Caity before leaving them and going bathroom to cry and hold her stomach not knowing what to do. After a few minutes she heard the door slam and she opened it and saw no one there feeling so alone. She texted Katie to come over after Caity told her what happened. The door knocked and when she opened expecting to see Katie saw Grant. "Katie texted me and told me what happened I am here for you he an idiot to do anything bad" says Grant bringing Caity in a hug. Grant made her some food and drink "Eat what you need for the baby and yourself" Grant stated and Caity did eat. "How am I gonna do this alone" she sighed and Grant sat down and he took her hand "Caity you have many people to be there for you all the arrow verse cast that for sure you have....me" he whispered in the end.

Caity put her head on his shoulder "hurts Tommy" she cried he put his arm around her "I know and if you do get a divorce will be different for a while trust me but does get better well for you because your strong not because you played a strong character but you just are" said Grant and kissed her head. "Would you stay with me Tommy until I feel better" asked Caity "Of course Caitlin until you get bored of me" he said making her laugh.  

A few Months Later

Caity divorced Kyle and Grant had been helping Caity around the house when she was busy or tired. Caity began to fall for Grant and one night Grant was sleeping beside Caity in bed but Caity was wakened and she looked at Grant she went close to him. "I love you Grant" She gently placed a kiss on his jaw. She placed her head on his chest listening to his heartbeat then she felt his arm around her. Caity smiled then she fell asleep. Caity now was happy as she knew Grant would be there for her and be her family as Kyle did not want anything to do with the baby and Grant told her he be the baby's Dad and Caity was glad he was there now. 

Time went by and the Baby came and it was a girl and Grant and Caity were very happy and so much in love with each other and now they have a daughter. Grant's name was on her birth certificate as Caity wanted to show her boyfriend how important he was and how much she loved him.
