2 years later.

Maeve sat at the desk of her office, she was intently staring at Pascale. Maeve wanted to know exactly what was going on behind those eyes.

'Maeve darling, can you go and post these for me?' She raised her hand without once looking up from the computer. 'When you come back I won't be here, I've emailed you the Dubeck Client file, draft up a contact that make all of us happy and email it back to me. I've set up a meeting for Tuesday Morning for when I return.'

'Of course Mrs Leclerc. Anything else?' Maeve rushed over to her side to collect the envelopes from her hand.

'Set up a lunch date with Charles and Arthur for Monday, there's some family business we need to discuss.' Pascale smiled at Maeve, 'Have you got any plans for this weekend.'

This weekend was Maeve and Charles second wedding anniversary, not like Charles would remember. Maeve and Charles had somehow taken 3 steps forward and 5 steps backwards. Maeve went and supported her husband for Grand Prix weekends as stated in their contract but she would be in the first flight home the moment it was all over. Little conversation was exchanged between the pair, it was mainly moans about each other, under the breathe mumbles and arguments. Maeve hated Charles, she hated the way he looked perfect twenty four seven, the way his dimples exposed when he would smile and laugh and even the way his eyes would glisten in the sun. She especially hated how he was with other people. Around his family and friends, he was calm, funny and charming. With his fans, he was polite, caring and the apple of many girls' eyes. But with Maeve, he was none of that, he was rude, slightly obnoxious and a bit of a bore. They had come to a mutual agreement that they were happy couple for the media, the friends, the fans and above all his family. But behind closed doors, they were enemies.

'I'm grabbing coffee with Arthur on my lunch and then who knows where Charles is taking me, hopefully somewhere nice.' Maeve lied and plastered a smile across he face, trying her hardest to be the doting wife.

'Well it is summer break, hopefully he will take you for a relaxing weekend away, maybe even a spa.' Pascale chuckled at she began to pack up her bag, 'enjoy your weekend whatever you do. Don't forget to set up lunch with my boys.'

'I'm on it.' Maeve smiled as she headed out of the office with the envelopes in her hand and her phone in the other.

Leo was waiting at the front of the house waiting for Maeve, she greeted him with a warm smile and hopped into the back. She informed him to come back in an hour after her coffee break with Arthur.

Once done in the post office, she saw Arthur sat in a coffee shop with 2 cups of coffee. His face lit up when he saw her walking towards him.

'Hello.' He smiled as Maeve sat down next to him. She smiled as he wrapped an arm around her planting a kiss of her cheek.

'Good Afternoon. Before I forget, your mother has requested you and Charles attend lunch with her on Monday when she is back from Spain.' Maeve told Arthur as she took a sip from a coffee Arthur had placed in front of her.

'Did she say what it was regarding?' He raised his eyebrow at her.

Maeve shook her head, 'Nope.' She smiled.

'How's things with Charles?' Arthur questioned. Arthur was the only person who knew what there marriage was like.

'Great.' She rolled her eyes, 'I love him so much I think my heart could explode.'

Arthur loved Maeve's weird sense of humour. 'I think he plans to take you away from here this weekend. It's your anniversary after all.'

'He won't.' Maeve scoffs, like it was the most stupid thing she had ever heard. 'I think I've learnt something.'
