Maeve had spent the evening smiling and taking photos for Charles with his fans that had come out to see him in town. They had spent the last 3 hours communicating with the people of Monaco and it was only now that they had made it to their room for the weekend.
Maeve was surprised with the luxurious element of the room. There was a kitchen dinner area, an even bigger bedroom area with a walk in shower. There was a chandelier hanging from the living room and the balcony looked out to the beech.
'One bed?' Maeve questioned as she placed her bag down the bed.
'I specifically requested two.' Charles mumbled no not looking up from his phone.
'I'm sure you'll be fine on the floor.' Maeve responded as she kicked off her shoes and laid on the bed.
'I'm the athlete, I need my rest.' Charles responded walking over to have a look at the room.
'I'm sure you'll Survive.' Maeve mumbled under her breath as she slowly closed her eyes. 'So why are we here Charles. Which one of your fancy girls are you meeting with this weekend.'
'There's just one I plan to see this weekend.' Charles smirked as he joined Maeve on the bed. 'Just my wife.'
Maeve shot up from the bed, feeling her skin breakout in a mild sweat from the effect of his words. 'Oh really.'
'I plan to find out more about my wife.' Charles placed his arm around his wife to pull her closer.
'Man you're confusing.' Maeve sighed, 'one minute you hate me and the next you want to get to know me!'
'Let's not argue this weekend, how about that?' Charles spoke quietly whilst looking down into Maeve's crystal eyes.
'We can try, but I can't make any promises.' Maeve responded with a smile that made Charles chuckles slightly. He bit his lip and moved to connect his lips with Maeve's. Initially Maeve was shocked with his actions, Charles had never done that before. Eventually she began to kiss him back. Charles pulled Maeve on top of him and began to remove her clothes from her body whilst trying to disconnect the kiss as little as possible.
He pulled away momentarily to examine her beauty. Her eyes, her hair, her smile, her face and her body. He felt a slight part of pride to call Maeve his wife as she was a gorgeous woman inside and out. But he felt guilt, thinking of all the time he had been unfaithful to his wife. 'Do you feel that Maeve? That's how much I want you right now.'
Maeve's cheeks blushed as nobody had ever wanted her, she could feel him growing beneath her. Her heart rate increased as this was all new to her. Charles being this way was completely out of the ordinary and sex was a foreign situation to Maeve.
Charles changed positions so he was now on top. He began to strip himself down whilst Maeve sat back and enjoyed to show. Her eyes were fixated on his body. He came back and planted a few wet kisses on her lips, neck and breasts and then looked intently at her again. Charles pulled Maeve's knickers off her body, spread her legs. 'You are so wet love.'
Maeve's heart was beating faster and faster to the point she could hear it. She didn't want him to stop touching her, this is all she ever wanted. His touch made her skin tingle and feel all giddy. But she needed him but needed to tell him the truth.
'I'm a virgin.' Maeve announced, the thought of sex terrified her and as we said, sex was a foreign area for Maeve. 'I have never done this before.'
Charles focused his attention to his wife, who was laid naked in front of him. 'I'm sorry. Would you like me to stop?'
Maeve took hold of his hand placed it back on her heat. 'I don't want you to stop.'
'I'll be extra gentle.' He smiled as he placed a kiss on her lips.

Friday
10:04Maeve woke up alone in the bed. Her lower body was aching from all of the activities of the evening prior. Her eyes adjusted to light around her and realised Charles was not in the bed beside her, where he had fallen asleep hours previously, with his arms wrapped around Maeve's body.
Maeve scavenged the floor for something to wear since they didn't have much time to unpack. She found the white t shirt Charles was wearing yesterday and put it on even though it looked like a dress on Maeve's little body.
She pulled open the bedroom door the smell of food hit her causing her stomach to rumble. To Maeve's shock, she found Charles in the kitchen preparing breakfast.
'Good Morning.' Charles smiled as Maeve approached him. He leaned in for a kiss that Maeve gladly accepted, she could get used to this new Charles. Caring and charming Charles. 'I've made pancakes.'
'May favourite.' Maeve smiled as she wiped the sleep out of her eyes, that was the best night sleep she had ever had.
'Grab a seat.' He smiled as he chuckled to himself at the fact that Maeve was stumbling. 'I was thinking we could have a day at the beach today?'
'You want to be seen in public with me?' Maeve asked as Charles placed the stack of pancakes in front of her
'Of course I do.' Charles scoffed at Maeve's reaction. Maeve hoped Charles's kindness would last but they both knew it wouldn't, it was only a matter of time of time until the arguments would commence
'Beech sounds good.' Maeve spoke as she slowly began eating away at the pancakes. Once finished, she began to clean the kitchen whilst Charles went to shower. Maeve went over to her bag and began to unpack her belongings. She then slipped on a black bikini and a black dress over the top and waited for her husband to be ready.
The grabbed some spare towels from the bathroom and walked hand in hand down to the beach. The way that Charles held her small hand gave Maeve butterflies in her stomach. But the familiar feeling of guilt was circling in his stomach, the truth had to be told eventually. They picked there sunbeds and began to apply sun scream to eachkther, Charles's touch was igniting Maeve's skin, Maeve's touch was burning Charles like she was a flame.
Was it regret that Charles was facing? Regret for sleeping with his own wife rather than a stranger? No that wasn't it. Regret for the way he had treated her previously to this weekend, how this was the first time he had shown Maeve some affection? Closer but jot close enough. Was it the regret for the fact he knew something Maeve didn't? Was it the fact that this revelation would destroy Maeve, destroy her trust for Charles? That was it. He knew the truth would have to come out eventually, but right now, it's destroying him. The truth would kill Maeve, she would never feel a betrayal quite like this.
'What are you working on?' Charles peered over to Maeve who was scribbling something down in a note book
'It's a song I'm working on.' Maeve spoke without looking up. 'It's about you.'
'Me?' Charles question, why would she ever want to waster her breathe on writing a song about Charles?
'Yeah, but you won't like it. It's not classical music.' She joked looking up at him with a wide smile. Her smile made his cold heart twinge in his chest. How could he be so cruel.
'I won't ask anymore questions.' He smiled back to Maeve. 'Look, we really need to talk.'
'Charles.' Maeve pursed her lips. 'Let's feed into this fantasy of us actually loving each other for the rest of this weekend. By Sunday night, we will be sick of each other and by Monday we can go back to hating each other. But for now, we can just play pretend.'
Charles was taken a back. He just wanted the truth to be heard. If he tells her now, maybe it won't hurt as much later. Maeve wants peace and Charles no longer wished to hurt Maeve. 'Okay Mrs Leclerc, whatever you say.'
'Mrs Leclerc demands you come for a swim with your wife.' Maeve smiles as she stands from the bed and extends her hand to him. Charles can't help but smile at this woman.
