Wei Ying and Jiang Cheng were still playing around when the little kids, who found the game extremely amusing, joined them giggling and laughing all the way. It was such a boisterous and joyous moment that no one interrupted them. Rather, the three little munchkins somehow got the juniors and ZiXuan into the play, too.

Lan Zhan, as usual, didn't join, though he enjoyed watching them have fun, while Nie Huaisang sat in his place because he didn't want to sweat it out as he was too lazy to run.

In a few moments, no one knew how, but Wen Ning, Wen Chao, Jin ZiXun, and Meng Yao had joined the group, too. Another moment later, they saw Xiao XingChen being added to the unusual group, too. And soon everyone found the entire group running behind each other in a long line. It looked like Wei Ying was the mama duck leading from the front, whilst the rest were following him like cute little ducklings.

No one disturbed them and let them have a much deserved break. But as soon as the screen lit up, everyone ran back to the seats.

After Lan QiRen left Qinghe and returned to Gusu, he didn’t make Wei WuXian go to the Library Pavilion to copy the Lan Sect’s sect rules again, but simply gave him a harsh scolding in front of everyone. Without the parts where he quoted ancient scriptures, it all boiled down to how he had never seen someone so unruly and shameless before, so please get lost as soon and as far as possible. Please don’t go near the other pupils, and especially refrain from tainting his favorite one—Lan WangJi.

Everyone started laughing at how it was all summarized. Even Lan Zhan blushed at how he was portrayed to be so innocent and naive. But to be honest, the truth was far from it. If he wasn't indulgent to other pupils and gossips around him, that doesn't mean he was unaware of what was out there.

When Wei Ying had shown him the porn, he had gotten extremely angry, not because it was something so scandalous, but because it was Wei Ying who was flaunting it so openly. It hadn't been so long since Lan Zhan had a nightmarish fantasy where he had debauched Wei Ying in the library in the same way the book had shown. He was rattled with the onslaught of teasings, the recurring nightmare, and the exuberance that Wei Ying exhibited. The book had been the last nail in the coffin, resulting in him blowing off in anger.

As he scolded, Wei WuXian only grinned while listening, feeling no humiliation or anger at all. Immediately after Lan QiRen left, Wei WuXian sat down and spoke to Jiang Cheng, “Don’t you think that it’s a bit too late, telling me to get lost now He only told me to get lost after I finished tainting his person. It’s too late!”

Lan Qiren sighed at this point while Wei Ying looked the other way. The said person between them - Lan Zhan- looked torn between whether to laugh or cry. The other viewers were still chuckling. But the one having the most fun at his didi's expense was Lan XiChen.

Even Lan Zhan knew his Xiongzhang was having too much fun at his expense. So he glared at him. But it's not like it had any effect on him. Instead, all XiChen could see was his cute little baby brother pouting like the stubborn baby he was. He so had the wish to pull his cheeks but restrained himself. WangJi wouldn’t appreciate it. Plus, he still had his spiritual energy, and XiChen couldn’t risk that.

The waterborne abyss in Caiyi Town created a great deal of trouble for the GusuLan Sect. It was impossible to completely destroy it, and the Lan Sect couldn’t chase it to somewhere else like the Wen Sect did. The sect leader of the Lan Sect was in secluded meditation most of the time, so Lan QiRen used all of his energy on this matter. With the lessons becoming shorter and shorter, Wei WuXian’s time spent with his friends in the mountains became longer and longer.

QinghengJun, for the first time in his life, felt extremely ashamed of his prolonged seclusion. His family still wasn't saying much, but he knew how much his actions must have hurt his clan, especially his sons, who had already lost their mother and his DiDi who only ever wished to be a scholar or teacher in life. Handling the sect at such a young age, when he wasn't even taught to do that, in addition to taking care of two orphan nephews, he must have taken a toll on him. He surely regretted his decision.
