ANAYA'S POV
"Zinda laash bankr reh gai hu" I said to myself after closing the door and throwing my zero-energy body on the sofa after hustling for more than nine hours in the office.
"Welcome back Anu" I raised hearing Papa's voice and my eyes fell on my goofy Jinnie who ran towards me to meet him.
I quickly got up to wash my hands before Jinnie climbed on me to cuddle him. I changed into my comfortable clothes and headed towards the kitchen to make some coffee for me and papa as it has become a ritual for us to have it together after I return home from my workplace.Swastik Bhaiya and Niyati Bhabhi will return from clinic after 9 pm so it is just three of us right now.
"Jinnie, stop being a bad boy" I tried stopping him before he could drop his toys from his bag.
He followed my order and walked into the kitchen hearing my phone ring. It's a video call from Vihaan.
"Hi Vihaan" I answered after connecting the airpods and placing my phone in the corner of the kitchen platform.
"Hello, so back from office?" He asked, sitting on his chair wearing a white shirt how can I forget his charming smile which always stays on his face?
"Yeah, when are you leaving for home?"
"In the next 10-20 minutes"
Vihaan joined his parents business after completing his degree and now he has been working as Managing Director.
"Jinnie, stop disturbing," I said, when he tried to get attention by walking around me and barking.
"Offo Jinnie" I continued.
"Isse daatke bhagau offo ya ya seene se lagau" He giggled, sitting in his cabin.
It's rare to hear him singing.

" I don't know how to sing."
"Neither do I but I tried"
I inhaled a breath and started singing in my not-so-good voice.
"Dil ka dimaag se jagda lagaya kese"
"Peeche ke darwaze se , dabe paav aaya kese" He joined and asked me to
"Thoda sa kameena thoda bechara hai" He stopped and pointed at Jinnie when I picked him in my arms.
"Ye ishq bhoot sahi par bhoot bada hi pyaara haiiiiii" I kissed Jinnie and smiled making him jealous.
"Offo ise ise daatke bhagao" He acted to throw him away.
"Ya ya seene se lagau" I hugged Jinnie and he snuggled into my shoulders, tickling me at the same time.
"Seene se muje laagado aur daatkr Jinnie ko bhaga do" He smirked which caused me to giggle. I heard papa calling me. I cut the call and he informed me that he would call me at night.
After placing Jinnie back on the floor, I washed my hands and continued making coffee.
Taking two coffee mugs in a tray, I headed towards the living room and Jinnie as usual followed me like an obedient child.
