“to each other,
we are each other's home”Vihaan’s POV
Here we arrived in Udaipur to get my best friend married to my sister. After the grand welcome by Geet’s mumma, we headed towards the temple room located in Shaktawat’s house. We all were waiting for the bride to proceed with further rituals and I stood beside my best friend.
Everyone’s attention was diverted on the entry of the bride but I was alone in the room to move my eyes on her best friend, to be precise, My Ana who walked in wearing a lavender saree matched with a necklace of white pearls and earring of same design.
We quickly exchanged a smile and she started typing something on her phone.
Stand with me in the mandap Vihaan Raichand.
The message displayed on my phone screen.
After completing the ritual,we headed towards the mandap following the couple and I made sure to walk along with her but her eyes denied looking at me.
The wedding rituals began in the mandap and she stood next to me, happiness visible on her face , her russett eyes capturing each moment of it but my eyes were busy adoring the woman, the one who is my forever.
“Mr.Vihaan Raichand, stay away from girls who are attending this wedding” She warned, looking around and acting casually to not give any hint about us.
“Should I wear an id card around my neck and write it in capital letters on it - Sorry girls.Taken by My Ana” I responded, gazing at her resulting in her eyes drowning into mine.
Suddenly panditji called bride’s brother and I walked forward, saying “Mai hu.Batao kya rasam hai” I moved ahead to complete the ritual and while returning, Kavya handed me a plate of flowers to shower on them during pheras as they raised from their places.
My mind wondered how does it feel to call someone officially mine in front of everyone. I gazed at her face reflecting brightness while her hands were busy picking flowers to shower on the couple performing the pheras.
“Ana,how does it feel for a girl when she leaves her house to begin a new journey?”I asked curiously, looking at her.
“I don’t know exactly but it isn’t easy for a girl to leave her family behind. To leave her comfort place where she has spent all her life, the family who loves her, the feeling is unexplainable or to be honest it can’t be explained in words” She answered.
“Aaj se aap pati patni huye”The priest announced after the completion of the last phera.
I leaned a little and whispered into her ear
“Ms.Mehra se Mrs.Raichand banne ka kab plan hai?”My question caused her eyes to shift on my face but she didn’t answer instead walked away.

Anaya’s POV
After having my dinner, I sat in Avantika’s room busy scrolling my phone but my mind was busy plotting a plan to meet him secretly as the next day we wouldn’t get much time due to all the rituals and bidaai.
“Anaya di,I will be back in ten minutes”Informed Avantika, wearing a jacket over her as it was month of december.
Using this opportunity of being alone in a room, I unlocked my phone and dialed his number
“Hello Vihaan, listen to me.Meet me on the terrace in the next 5 minutes”and I disconnected the call.
I rushed upstairs to reach the terrace before anyone could find me. I opened the metal door, taking a huge care to not end up making a noise announcing anyone about my visit to the terrace.
