"eyes have language of their own"

AUTHOR'S POV

"Vihaan Bhai, will you give the mirror a moment to rest? I have been seeing you for one hour constantly checking yourself in it" Kavya's taunt made a way to enter the room before her arrival accompanied by Whiskers and Coco.

"Am I looking good? Should I change the blazer or the shirt?" Vihaan asked for confirmation from his sister, who stared at his unusual actions.

"Better wear your t-shirt which you were previously wearing" Kavya replied sarcastically, taking Whiskers into her arms.

The sound of anklets approaching the room interrupted their talks when they came across the glimpse of a newly married couple entering the room.

VIHAAN'S POV

"Dhruv, leave your wife for a while and help your brother," I asked, looking at my reflection in the mirror. Though the engagement took place in the hotel where Geet's father works as CFO, we are staying at their place after they insisted before we could depart for Jaipur.

"Which perfume? This or that" I displayed two bottles asking Dhruv to choose one.

'Left one" Dhruv responded and smiled.

"Vihaan, you are going for dinner. You have known each other for so long yet you are asking for approval from us" Geet commented, taking a seat on the chair placed near the study table in Avantika's room. Garv and I are staying here. Meanwhile, our parents are staying in another flat which is opposite to this.

I was all set for the dinner but we noticed Garv walking into the room and he stared strangely

"Is it my coat? Never mind, it looks better on me than you but you can wear it." He giggled and Geet handed me the car keys so I could leave for her home.

"All the best" They wished altogether and I left thanking them.

I reached the parking area, got inside the car followed by the mandatory seatbelt, and switched on the map to know the location of Ana's home though I visited a few times here.

Before I could start driving, I texted her informing her to be ready as I would be there within ten minutes. The car left the society and I noticed the sky had fallen dark, stars twinkling in the sky reminding us of our late-night calls under the canopy of stars during our long distance.

My heart isn't ready to believe we are engaged and we are getting married after two months.

Wish I could announce in front of the world that I am getting married to my Ana, the one who is the reason for Vihaan to believe in love, the one who gave me infinite feelings while loving her. I believe it's because of her that our long distance was a bed of roses though I grew impatient many times due to the unavailability of many chances to meet each other.

My eyes signaled my brain about the arrival of her place and I stopped the car in her parking area only to find her absent. Quickly taking my phone, my finger tapped the keypad on the screen to call her.

I received her message when she disconnected the call. Two minutes, I will be there.

Unbuckling my seatbelt, I got outside of the car and stood taking a support of the closed car gate. Ana, how long will it take to get ready? I noticed a few residents taking an evening walk in the garden while some were talking among themselves sitting on a stone bench.

"Vihaan" Her voice quickly moved my eyes only to see her walking, placing her green dupatta over her shoulder, yet her eyes gave me competition in gazing. The most beautiful lady graced me with her presence, her smile outshining even the stars.
