LAMINE HUNG UP THE PHONE , satisfied that he had said everything he needed to say. He was at training, where it was common for teammates' friends and family to come and watch. He appreciated their support, but to him, they were just spectators. They didn't know him personally.

He placed his phone back in his bag and refocused on his training. Lamine seen his friends laughing from a distance causing a confused look to form on his face. "Whats so funny?"

Pau looked at Lamine, annoyed. "Ask them."

Hector, Marc, and Diego continued laughing. Lamine looked at the group, still confused.

"Cubarsi—" Diego mimicked, playfully hitting Pau as he spoke.

Hector turned to Lamine with a grin. "Cubarsi thinks he can pull your friend."

Pau's face turned red as he shoved Hector, causing him to stumble, but Marc caught him just in time.

"Pau, calm down," Marc said, steadying Hector.

"What friend?" Lamine asked, still perplexed.

"Remember when we were talking about your friends in the group chat—" Diego started, but Lamine quickly cut him off.

"Don't tell me this is about them. I don't even want to know which one you think you can pull, Cubarsi," Lamine said, rolling his eyes. He found the idea of his friends talking to Sofia or Katie a bit strange.

"It was just a joke," Pau insisted.

Marc shot Pau a side-eye, knowing he wasn't entirely joking. "If you were joking, why did you keep repeating it?" Marc said, causing Hector to burst out laughing.

"Oh, shut up, acting like you didn't also say something about Lamine's friends," Pau defended himself.

Lamine stood there, watching his friends argue. He knew they weren't really fighting—they did this all the time, bickering about the littlest things. Usually, Lamine would be laughing since Pau always got mad so quickly, but this time they were talking about his girl best friends.

Hector's laugh died down. "We only mentioned it once in the group chat, and it stayed in the group chat."

Diego fake-gasped, putting his hand over his mouth.

"None of you could pull my friends even if you wanted to. Especially if you act like this. My friends are off limits," Lamine said firmly.
