RJ's POV
*3 months later*

"You sure she gon like it dog?" I asked looking at it in the lil box.

"Fashoo foo. Quit stressin mayne, She gon say yes"

I took a deep breath. "Yeah, Ight"

Raven's POV

"Where are we going Rj?" I asked him.

He left a gorgeous red dress on our bed. It was sleeveless, body fitted and had the back out.

"Just put on the dress and allat to match it and meet me downstairs Ight?" He asked kissing my cheek.

I nodded and he walked out.

I changed into the dress which fit me perfectly.

I wore black pumps and straightened my hair with a part in the middle.

I applied a bit of mascara and grabbed my black clutch purse with my phone and other things.

I carefully walked down the stairs and smiled.

Rj licked his lips. "Lord give me the strength" he mumbled smacking my butt.

I laughed.

"Yall come see yo mama" Rj called out.

Kyree (6yrs) Jameel and ja'kori (2yrs)
Came out in black tuxedos like RJ's.

They smiled.

"Oh my God, you guys look so cute" I smiled giving them kisses.

Rj picked up Chanel from her crib.

She was wearing the cutest white dress with her hair all curly.

"My Babygirl" I said kissing all over her face.

She giggled and touched my cheeks.

Last month We discovered that her eyes change colors. Her eyes were now a deep beautiful blue.

"Rj, where are we going?" I asked him.

"Don't worry bout it baby" he kissed my cheek and opened the front door.

We all walked out to the car.

He opened the door for me and buckled Chanel, kori and Jameel up in their car seats.

Kyree hopped in the backseat.

Rj started the car and as soon as the car started Slob on my Knob By Three Six Mafia blasted through his speakers.

I laughed as he rushed to turn it off and put on jcole's album: Forest Hills Drive that the kids love, especially kyree.

"Can you please tell me?" I asked him.

He shook his head no and grabbed my hand. "Chill ma, you'll see when we get there." He kissed my hand and I laid my head back in my seat.

We pulled up to an Italian restaurant.

Only God knows how much I love Italian food.

We walked in and my smile widened once I seen my family sitting at one large table.

I looked over at Rj who was holding Chanel and kissed his cheek.

"Hey mama!" I smiled and hugged my mother along with RJ's mom.

My mom, RJ's mom Keisha, my dad, raine , jayla, Kevin, Keenon, and my sister teyanna.

I smiled and squeezed my sister tight. "My God I missed you! How was New York?" I asked her.

She's been in New York for the past 3 years because she's been working on a lot of movies over there.

"It was amazing! We're almost finished with the new movie but we still have a few scenes to do."

I nodded and smiled "that's good sis!"

The last time I seen teyanna was about 2 months ago. She came to see Chanel for the first time.

She always comes for family events and stuff but she is a very busy woman so she doesn't have all the time in the world.

We all sat down, ate and talked.

I looked over at Rj who looked nervous. Like something was on his mind.

I slightly frowned. "Baby, what's wrong?"

He looked over at me and put on a fake smile. "Nun ma, I'm good. You Ight?"

I nodded and smiled.

A few minutes later Kevin spoke up.

"Aye Rj, it's time" he said.

I looked over at Rj and he stood up, clearing his throat.

"Ight, so I know I'm late and all. We already got four kids and all but I've been told you I was finna do this for years" he started, lookin straight at me.

He pulled out a black ring box. He pulled up his pants a little then dropped down on one knee in front of me.

My heart started pounding and a few people gasped.

"Raven, whea' do I even start? You that real definition of a ride or die chick. You've had my back through thick and thin and I love and appreciate you for that. I know I messed up, twice and I still beat myself up over that. I cheated on someone who loved me and only wanted me. But my hoe ass was entertaining them hoes. I swear, I wanna be with you forever Raven. We've been through allotta crazy shit together and I love you, you stuck with me through it all. I should have asked you this before but Raven Amaria Young, will you marry me?"

I smiled and a tear escaped my eye. "Y-Yes, of course"

He grabbed my hands that nervously shook, but they weren't that different from His.

This is the first time I've ever seen Rj nervous.

He's always so confident and bold, I love that about him.

His shaky hands slipped the ring on to my finger and he smiled up at me as I did the same to him.

Everyone clapped.

I grabbed his face and kissed him, with emotion and passion.

"That's all folks!" My dad said interrupting us.

Rj and I pulled away

We all laughed and I pulled Rj into a tight hug.

His arms wrapped around me made me feel safe.

I looked at the ring that sat on my finger and I couldn't help but let the waterworks out.

Rj pulled away and wiped my tears.

"Don't cry ma, you 'possed to be smilin" he said kissin my forehead then lips.

"I know" I said wiping the rest of my tears. Thank God I wore my water proof mascara. "They're tears of joy."

He smiled and kissed me again. "I love you Raven, so much"

"I love you more" I replied kissing him.

"Impossible" he smirked.

I shook my head. "It's really not"

"Ight then, You gon show me how much you love me tonight?" He asked licking his lips.

I chuckled "of course"

I thank God for this man.

We've gon through so much shit together.

He's lied and cheated on me which ended us broken up.

We've made love to each other and argued like every other couple.

But I guess that is all part of Tough Love
