Wedding Day

Raven's POV

*6 months later*

I woke up in a hotel room by myself. I slowly drifted out of the bed with a huge smile on my face.

Today is the day I become Mrs. Lawson

I opened the door after I heard knocking.

Jayla, teyanna, my mom and mother in law all stood there.

My mom held Chanel in her carrier.

They all smiled. "Good morning Mrs Bride To Be" jayla said.

I hugged all of them, one by one as they stepped in.

"Good Morning" I closed the door behind them and made my way to Chanel in her carrier.

"Was she good last night?"

"Of course, she slept like an angel." My mom said.

I smiled. "My baby girl, she's growing up too fast" I said kissing her forehead.

"Yes, and very beautifully" Keisha said.

"So, how are you feeling? You excited?" Teyanna asked.

"More nervous than excited" I replied sitting on my bed with Chanel.

"Awe! I'm about to see my baby get married. The water works will come darling, best believe they will" my mom said.

I laughed and hugged her.

I smiled at my reflection once jayla finished the last of my makeup.

I wiped my sweaty palms on the shirt I was wearing.

I kept glancing at the clock, that let me know the reception was getting closer.

Jay un clipped my hair and hooked up the curling wands.

I looked in the mirror, watching as my sister and mother in law laid out all my things. Making sure everything was set and perfect.

I answered my phone as soon as I noticed it was ringing.

"Hey mama"

"Hey baby, you guys almost finished?" She asked.

"Jay is doing my hair right now but we will be soon. Is nelly dressed?" I asked.

Nelly is the nick name that rj gave Chanel.

"Yes and she looks so damn cute! I just put her little flower headband on."

I smiled.

"Thanks mama, I love you"

"Your welcome baby and I love you more!"

We hung up.

"Raven, there's something I need to tell you but I'll wait after the reception" jayla said smiling.

"What is it?! Please tell me"

She held her stomach.

My eyes widened.

"Your are?! Oh my God! Congrats bae"

"Yes and thank you" she smiled. "I just found out last night and told Kevin this morning"

I nodded and smiled.

Good things just keep happening and I love it.
