MAE CHANGED with a quiet sigh. They had gym for the next period. A week had passed and she barely spoke to anyone. Madison had introduced her friends to her but she felt like she was intruding. Sara was one of her friends too, she knew her and Simon because they used to go to the same elementary school, but she wasn't very close with her.
She was friend with Simon though. Actually, she was friend with his friend Rosh since four grade so by extension she was friend with him. They had become closer during the winter break, after Simon's sex tape had been made public, Mae had been a great emotional support to him. Along with Ayub and Rosh, they were the only ones who knew it was Wilhelm with him in the video. Well, she supposed Sara knew too but as said, they weren't really close so she wouldn't really know.
"Hey." a voice spoke up next to her.
She turned around and saw Felice, one of Madison's friends. The girl put her bag on the bench to change.
"Hi." the brunette replied.
"You seem lonely. Why don't you hang with us for a bit?" Felice asked kindly.
"I don't want to intrude." Mae shrugged as she was tying up her hair.
"You're not." she assured. "Plus, it's Sara's birthday today so we're having a sleepover. It's the perfect occasion for you to meet everyone."
"Well, if you're sure I'm not bothering anyone, I guess that could be fun." Mae nodded.
"It will! I can't wait!"
The girl smiled and she waited until Felice had finished changing so they could go into the gymnasium together. They were playing lacrosse today. Felice and Mae were on the same team. In front of them was Prince Wilhelm. Felice had told her they were good friends but Mae had never had the chance to talk to him before. There was also Simon on the opposing team.
As Mae caught the ball, she threw her stick to pass it to a boy on her team but the ball landed right in the head of the ginger boy from the first day. The ball hit him square in the forehead, knocking him to the ground.
"Timeout!" the teacher exclaimed as the brunette ran up to the boy.
"Oh my God, I'm so sorry, are you okay?" she exclaimed as she stopped in front of him.
He crutched his head in pain. "Yeah, I think so."
"I'm so sorry." she repeated as she held out her hand.
He took it and she helped him getting up. "It's okay." he nodded, giving her a smile. "I'm Henry, by the way."
"I'm Mae. I mean, you already knew that. Sorry." she said.
He chuckled but didn't have time to reply since the teacher jogged over them. "Are you okay, Henry?"
"Yeah, I'm fine." the boy nodded.
"Take a five minutes break. I hope you run better than you play lacrosse." the man joked towards the girl.
Henry and her shared a look as he was walking away and giggled. The boy pointed at the bench. "I'll go sit down."
"Sorry again." she said.
"Don't worry about it." he smiled before leaving.
"Game's back on!" the coach yelled.

Mae grabbed her drink as she was sitting between Sara and Madison. As Felice had suggested, she had joined the girls for the sleepover for Sara's birthday and she had to admit that it was going rather well. The girls were all super nice. There was Sara, Felice, Madison, Stella and Fredrika. Fredrika was reading the rules of a game called Girl Talk.
"Let the two spinners decide what you do or which question to answer. If you do the challenge or answer the question, you get the point. If you don't dare, you don't get any."
Stella read one of the card. "'The guy in class you have a crush on'... It's all 'you meet a guy'. Why a guy?"
"Listen to this!" Fredrika laughed. "Rate your own face from one to ten."
"My God, what is this?" they all laughed.
"That game is from 1994." Sara chuckled.
Stella spinned the purple spinner and Fredrika read the question. "How many people have you had sex with?"
"Three. And you?"
"What?" Fredrika replied.
"It's your turn."
"Uh, yeah, I have also slept with three. Or two." she said but Stella kept staring at her. "Or one. I don't know. It depends on how you count."
"You're so vague." Felice said.
Madison refused to answer so Stella turned to Felice who took some chips. "Three."
"What about you, Mae?" Stella asked.
"One."
"And you, Sara?"
"I've never slept with anyone."
"Really? Never?" Stella exclaimed.
Fredrika nudged her. "Hey, come on."
"What? Nothing wrong with that. I think it's cute to be a real virgin."
"What do you mean? Are there fake virgins?"
"I mean some girls are virgins but have done everything except penetrative sex."
"Why sleep with someone if you can just cum on your own?" Sara asked.
Mae nodded. "So true."
"Yeah, preach it." Madison added.
"Sorry, hold on, stop. It's about love. It's so much better. If you sleep with a person you have feelings for, it is better!" Fredrika exclaimed.
"You know that feeling when you really want someone? When someone makes you tingle, you should totally sleep with them. It's a totally different feeling."
Mae listened quietly. She thought the conversation was really interesting but she wouldn't know. She had never been in love.
