      MAE AND ELISA were dancing on Dancing Queen and even if the party was just getting started, it was already in full swing. It must be said that there were a lot of people there. As usual, Elisa made it big so she invited her whole school. Mae didn't really know them even though she spent a year with them. Elisa was popular and had lots of friends so Mae was just known because she was Elisa's best friend. That didn't mean people really paid attention to her.

      Rosh, Ayub and Simon were there too, even though they didn't go to the same high school as Elisa. They always hung out together even though the last time they had been in class together was in middle school.

      Unlike the three, Elisa came from a wealthy family. Mae's family wasn't poor, but they weren't rich either. Elisa, on the other hand, had parents who both worked in a large international company. So they had a gigantic house and almost never lived there since they were always on the move, which meant that it was always here that the biggest parties were taking place.

     Mae noticed a group consisting of Felice, Sara, Fredrika, Madison, Stella, Henry, Valter and Wilhelm as they were entering the room. She nudged Elisa and pointed at the group and the two girls made their way towards them.

      Felice noticed them first. "Hey!"

      Mae smiled. "Hi! It's great you could make it!"

     "This place is fucking awesome!" Stella exclaimed.

      "It's so cool that you guys could come!" Elisa replied.

      "Thank you for inviting us." Wilhelm nodded at her.

      "The bathroom is at the top of the stairs and the bar is over there. Please, make yourself at home." Elisa smiled.

      "Have you seen Simon?" Sara questionned.

      "I think he's over there with Marcus." the host pointed at the other side of the living room.

      Mae noticed Wilhelm's gaze darkening. It was quite obvious he wasn't over Simon. And to be honest, Mae didn't think Simon was over him either, but he seemed like he didn't want to show it.

      Mae and Elisa went back to the dancefloor, with Fedrika, Felice and Madison. Wilhelm walked away to look for Simon while Henry and Valter grabbed shots from one of the tables in the living room while Sara and Stella were talking to another girl who just bumped into them.

      Mae quickly ended up leaving the group to go grab something to drink in the kitchen because she was dying from the heat. As she was pouring herself a glass of water, Bastian walked up to her. She rolled her eyes. Bastian was her ex-boyfriend. They broke up about a month before she got transferred to Hillerska.

      "I don't wanna talk to you." she said as she tried to walk around him.

      "You owe me an explanation." he grabbed her arm, stopping her from leaving.

      "I don't owe you anything."

      "You broke up with me without even saying why." he glared at her. "I wanna know why."

      "Because things weren't working out between us, you know it and I know it." she replied. "You never listened to anything I said, you were cutting me out of everything! You know, I'm right."

      Bastian's eyes were showing how angry he was now. "Bullshit! You're just to afraid to commit. This is the real thing."

      "I'm not afraid to commit." Mae shook her head. "The real thing is I don't think you were treating me right. You don't think I knew about you sleeping with someone else?"
