Thud I groaned at the reaction my head made when I came back to my senses again. This hurts real bad.
A sweet yet bitter taste was lingering on my lips when I grazed my tongue over it for some moisture.
Thud thud thud A hammer slammed the inside of my brain when I tried to get up from the bed. A large window opposite to my bed depicted everyone's business and routine. It was Sid's apartment where I was.
But wait, I'm supposed to be at my penthouse probably in front of my pc minding my own business.
Reality suddenly ripples through me when I recalled how drunk I was with Alfaaz when we got home but I kicked his ass off from the car dropping him to our mansion and drove impulsively for straight an hour and ended up in a park where a girl sat with a whiskey bottle in her arms. Everything was hazy like flashcards with main scenes.
The girl The whiskey The sound of rain hitting the delicate grass The dance The realisation of her being Arathrika when i saw her face luminated by the moonlight. The kiss.
“Oh fuckkkkkk” I growled at myself when the image of me kissing Arathrika. I was looking no more good than an animal.
An image flickered in my brain again.
Her lips grazed softly over mine when I yanked her up closer to me and kissed her until we both choked on air and the rain hit our skin like it badly wanted to extinguish the fire set within.
A door Knob distracted me from all the filthiest thoughts I started creating after that kiss.
“So park boy, you awake.” Sid entered followed my his house maid who placed a hangover soup on the nightstand.
“What are you doing here?”
“Nevermind but I would like to remind you that it's my own mansion where you are currently.” Sid replied with a sarcastic smile and added “park boy.” OK I could live without that idiot nickname as well.
“Don't call me that” I practically barked at him.
“Hmm…. Being draped up with your ex girlfriend in the park while it's raining wildly. This name suits your actions.”
“How do you know?”
"We were worried sick when Arathrika wasn't home. Then things got crazier when Alfaaz called, saying you left him at the mansion. To top it off, it was super late by then. Thankfully, we found you both at a park, asleep and all cuddled up, thanks to your phone tracker. I Dvs drove away to their home after she got Arathrika, and here you are."
