Unpredictable Connection

10.Past part-1

3rd person's POV:

Freen came back and sat beside Becky while Becky was looking at the moon.

"So, are you ready to share?"

"So where was I ?"

"Seriously girl? You are a law student?"

"Shut up, Freen"

"Okay, You went inside where parents were gossiping ."

"Yes, that's it. They talked about some business and when Aunty got to know that we will be shifting to England after 5 days she asked me if fr.... I mean phi knows that or not. I shook my head in no. She was about to call but I asked her not to tell her. You know I was fucking stubborn. Jeez."

"You are still stubborn Bec." Becky gave her an angry look

"Okay, stop looking like that. Next, what happened?"

"Okay, as much as I know they didn't tell her after that. And we left. I wanted to see you for the last time. I was so attached to her, she was not only a phi but also my best friend. But she didn't come. After we went to England I tried to reach her but I was unable to do so. I found her social media account after almost 1 year. She was happy. That's it."

"Don't tell me you were stalking about her account?"

"Well yes"

"How can you say that so confidently?"

"Because she was my phi."

"What do you mean by was?" Becky didn't answer. Freen was thinking that phi is no more but Becky started her story.

"I saw her after coming to Thailand.... With another girl.. She gave that girl an engagement ring ."

Becky started crying at this point, but Freen was confused and asked a question,

"So what? You were stalking your phi and now you are crying after seeing her with her girlfriend. Why?"

"I love her Freen"

Freen was surprised to hear those words from Becky she was just thinking how Becky fell in love with someone whom she thought was her phi. She was hurt deep down but wasn't ready to accept that. She looked at Becky and saw Becky was crying. Still, she couldn't able to control her curiosity and asked her,

"Bec, I think it's not love. You were getting all her attention and now you saw someone else with her so you are just jealous."

"yes Freen, I'm jealous but I do love her and now I'm sure."

"How can you be so sure, Bec?" Freen was a bit frustrated. Becky could feel so. She looked at Freen with her teary eyes and started,

"I didn't realize how much I loved her until she was gone. I found myself crying at 3:00 a.m. thinking I'd never see her again.... I lost her Freen.. The worst feeling when you find out you love a person after losing her... I met her but she acts like she doesn't even know me... It hurts Freen.. I can't hold on more... Why do I always make this type of mistakes? Why???"

Freen was unable to say something, She could feel tears rolling down from her cheek.

"I messaged her a lot but I think she had already changed her number... Currently, I do have her number but I can't because she doesn't even know me Freen...How can forget someone I've loved since I first learned what love is? I've tried so hard, but I can't. I want her back. I love her so much."
