Freen's POV:

I was slightly irritated by the fact that I had to drop these girls off, but their safety was my priority, so I reluctantly agreed. At least Nam would be with me, which made me feel a little more at ease. However, Nam decided to sit behind me and immediately fell asleep, her quiet breathing a constant reminder that I was alone in my thoughts.

Becky... I didn't know her, but there was this strange connection I felt with her. It was as if I had seen her somewhere before, but I couldn't quite place it. Whatever it was, I decided not to dwell on it — overthinking would only give me a headache.

I focused on the road, trying to drive quietly, but fatigue was creeping in, and I could feel my eyelids growing heavier. Damn, not now. I couldn't risk falling asleep and putting everyone in danger.

Suddenly, Becky spoke up, breaking the silence. I liked the sound of her voice, though I couldn't show it. I didn't know her well enough to trust her, and trusting someone so quickly wasn't a good idea. So, I answered her a bit harshly, and I could see the hurt in her eyes. I immediately regretted it, feeling guilty. I decided to soften up a little and at least be civil.

We finally arrived at their house, but of course, just my luck — it started raining. I couldn't drive in the rain. I liked rain, but whenever I tried to drive through it, it triggered a traumatic memory that I wasn't ready to face again.

Irin invited us in, and Nam, understanding my hesitation, agreed to stay. Honestly, I didn't want to go inside, but it was Nam. If I thought I could just say no and she would calm down, I was wrong. So, I reluctantly followed them inside, and Becky led me to her room. After a quick shower, I walked out and caught Becky staring at me. It made me feel awkward, so I asked them what they were talking about. Becky was a bit odd, but she also had a funny side.

Irin suggested we play Truth or Dare. Char spun the bottle, and of course, it landed on me.

"Yes, it's P'Freen first!" Irin shouted, her excitement palpable.

Char looked at me with a mischievous grin. "Whom do you love the most, after your family and friends?"

I hesitated for a moment. After my family and friends, the two people who meant the most to me were Heidi and Nita. They weren't family, but they'd been there for me in ways that no one else had.

"Heidi," I answered simply. I noticed Nam smiling at me. She knew exactly how important she was to me.

The other girls looked slightly disappointed. Maybe they thought I'd mention a girlfriend, but that wasn't the case.

Nam spun the bottle next, and it landed on Becky.

"So, Becky," Nam began, "What's your girlfriend's or boyfriend's name?"

That question shocked everyone. Becky looked at me as if I was her girlfriend. What was going on?

"I.. never had one. I mean, I wasn't in any formal relationship ever," Becky answered. Her smile faded as she spoke. I was about to ask her more, but Irin quickly interjected.

"Let's not get too emotional on this beautiful, romantic rainy night. Now, it's my turn."

The bottle spun again, and this time, it landed on Nam. Irin smiled, clearly excited.

"What's your partner's name?" Irin asked, her curiosity getting the better of her.

Everyone was stunned. Nam just smiled, her eyes gleaming with mischief.

"Sorry," Irin added quickly, "Actually, P'Fa mentioned that day. That's why I'm asking. Who's the lucky person?"

Nam looked at me with a playful grin before answering.
