Every girl wanted him. He was used to girls chasing him down just to get his autograph. He wasn't used to girls turning him down, or not wanting to get to know him.
But on the set of his parents tv show "Ozzy And Harriet" he is to date this girl Mar...

I was extremely nervous. I was going to kiss Ricky in front of his family! In front of my boss! Most importantly in front of my family! And not to mention my friends watching at home!
Oh god. Could I pulled this off!? Could I do this?
I sigh as I sit on my bed. Should I call in sick? Or just blink and let it happen as it did the first time we met? I didn't know...
I run my fingers through my hair. I loved being on the show. I loved getting to know Ricky. I loved kissing him. No wonder he wanted the first kiss of his life not to be on the show! Now I understand it all!

"What's wrong sis?" Paula asks as she sits on the bed next to me. She hugs me.
"My plan is failing. I try staying away from Ricky and that makes him incredibly interested in me. I can't stop thinking of him. And now I have to kiss him on tv in front of the whole world!" I state to her,
"Shouldn't be to bad kissing him. You seemed to like it when he kissed you in here!" she snickers.
"I'll remember that when you have boys come to see you! Little Spy!" I tease.
"You will do great then who knows maybe you will get movie roles with someone like Cary Grant!" says my sister. I start to tickle her she gets me back. We are laughing and forgetting our worries for now.
I am unsure if after this role did I want to keep acting if it was going to be so hard for me? Maybe after this show I would buy myself my own home and quit. But I couldn't own my own home until I was married. Men could buy homes.
Not me.
I got ready to go to set. Mom got me a new dress to wear today. They were doing my hair and my make up on set of the show once I arrived there. I actually loved to get my hair done. I felt so fancy. Like a real actress! A starlet.
I leave my parents to go find their seats to watch the show once I'm on set. I sit in my movie star chair with my name Mary Lou on it. I fold my hands neatly into my lap then perch my feet on the chair.
They begin to curl my hair fix it up and doll me up with make up. I did feel very blessed and beautiful for Ricky. I was not used to all this attention but I did rather like it.
I went into my dressing room to enjoy a cola and relax my nerves for a moment before the show started. I look at myself in the mirror. It didn't look like me. But it was me. All grown up.
I remember watching my grandma in community plays. Seeing her get flowers from grandpa back stage. Admiring her. Wanting to grow up to be like her. Now I did. I knew she would be proud of me as my mother was to.
There was a knock on my door. I opened it and there was Ricky. He looked so handsome and his hair was perfect. My heart leaped in my throat seeing him there. He brightly smiled at me. Then shut the door.
