Chapter 17

Copter and Kimmon just coming back from college and was about to enter the door of the café when both of their step halted. It was like a dejavu for Copter, but Kimmon was a different story. Somehow he was stunned and stuck in a world of his own, only the clear vision of the person he saw for the first time that he could saw, while everything else was blurry. The smile of that person captivated him so much that he didn't care anything for the world except for what he saw now.

Copter didn't know who that new boy is, but he didn't like how friendly he is with Tae, and how Tae had treated him friendly, with hands touching the boy's head making Copter irritated. Somehow, it makes him feels angry and instead walking inside the café, he was turning around walking out while mumbling, "Stupid P'Tae." Leaving stunned Kimmon, and walking out to go back home instead.

After a while a voice snapped Kimmon out from his peripheral view that almost makes him lost all his senses, making him shake his head trying to get out from it.

".....Kim...... Kimmon!" Tae was calling Kimmon once he saw the guy was standing at the door. He had to call him a few times when the guy didn't even react or answering him, and he seems lost in his own world. Kimmon then was half running coming closer to Tae and the sweet guy in front of him.

"Yes, P'Tae. What is it?" he said once he came closer to both of them.

"Where is Copter? Why are you alone?" Asked Tae making Kimmon realized only then that Copter no longer with him.

"Oh, he was here just now. Maybe he was going up already." Said Kimmon while his eyes keeps on darting to the other guy.

"P'Tae, is this your new staff? I never saw him before." Asked Kimmon couldn't wait for Tae to introduce the guy. It is if he ever will, so he took the initiatives.

"Oh, yes. He is the new staff here at the café. This is Bas, and Bas, this is Kimmon. He is one of the tenant here. Talking about room, where do you live, Bas?" Tae was introducing them both making Kimmon eagerly extended his hand to offer a handshake which Bas took it, but making Bas a little bit uncomfortable when Kimmon was holding his hand a little bit too long. But Bas was able pulling his hand free before answering Tae.

"I was about to ask you if you still had available room upstairs. I know you didn't provide room for your staff since Mr. Lam had already briefed me before." Said Bas making Tae smile a tenderly smile, making Kimmon frowning.

"Why don't you asked Lam right away? We do have one room available." Tae then turned to Kimmon who still couldn't avert his eyes away from Bas.

"It was next to Kimmon's room. So I hope both of you could get along. Let me take the keys for you and help you settle in your room first. you will start working tomorrow anyway, and since I already introducing you to all the staff, your business is finish here for the day."

Tae was about to turn around when suddenly Kimmon had tug on his shirt, making him turn to him.

"You can give me the keys. I will help you bring him upstairs and telling him all the rules. I know the drills, Copter did to me, and I still remember every single things he did." Kimmon was giving him his puppy eyes while asking him, making Tae chuckled. This guy is really funny, and while smiling he just nods his head. He wanted to go home anyway, to check on Copter.

Once they were finish all the procedures of renting the room, Kimmon was taking Bas upstairs to their room, but of course, to Bas's room first.

Copter who was going up feeling frustrated couldn't help but feeling angry for no reason. He walk straight to his room after getting inside the house, just throwing his bag on the bed before he was sitting on the side of the bed. The image of Tae smiling tenderly with the new guy was still stuck in his mind making his mood even worse. He knew he was being ridiculous, because technically speaking, he was no one for Tae, and Tae had the right to do that with whoever he wanted.

Taking in a deep breath, he was trying to calm himself down. Feeling weak, he was then let fall his upper body on the bed, with his feet still on the floor, and his hand covering his upper head and his eyes, trying to suppress the feelings he had.

Somehow, imagining that someday Tae would have someone as his partner, and it wasn't him, making his eyes got teary all of a sudden. He couldn't be greedy. P'Tae had done so much for him, and if one day Tae had choose someone else, he shouldn't be an obstruction for him and his partner. Just thinking about him making his tears falling harder.

"Copter, what are yo....what happened? Why are you crying?" Hearing P'Tae's voice and the sudden opening of his door room making Copter jolted from his lying position, and since he was still crying, he couldn't have enough time to cover his tears, but he was wiping it right away.

"Why would I'm crying? I was just sleepy and I'm yawning so much that makes my eyes teary. Why are you looking for me, P'Tae?" Asking Copter trying to make his voice as normal as usual, and he did it, at least, Tae believed him.

"I thought you were crying, scared the hell out of me. Anyway, you should have seen me before coming up, so that I knew if you are hungry or not." Said Tae, making Copter smile.

"I'm not a child, P'Tae. Besides, you just have to call me instead of coming up here. You are still working, and I don't want to hear P'Park complaining that his boss is neglected his own responsibility." Said Copter making Tae laughing his heart out.

"Well, I'm still the boss. Anyway, what do you want to eat for dinner? Do yo....wait, I need to answer this call." Tae said but suddenly his phone ringing making his words hanging and Copter could just nodding his head.

"Yes, Bas, what is it?" Said Tae answering the call, and Copter could see how soft Tae's tone is. It wasn't the tone he usually use to his staff, makes Copter wonder if he was talking to the new guy. Tae was laughing a little making Copter frowning while he still didn't turning his eyes from Tae.

"You don't have to do that." He said while still smiling.

"Okay, if you insist. And yes, tells him I gave you permission to use the kitchen. But you must make sure you will not making any mess and make sure the kitchen was as good as before and after you used it, okay?" Tae was still talking, and Copter was still watching, but somehow, every time Tae was smiling, laughing and using a different tone while talking in that phone call, making Copter's heart cut into pieces by pieces.

Copter had to hold his tears in by the time Tae was finished with the phone call and turning back to Copter. He was forcing a smile so that Tae wouldn't be suspicious.

"Sorry Cop. The new guy said he wanted to cook for me as a thank you giving him job here. What about you? Do you want to have dinner at the café or....." Tae couldn't finished his question when Copter was just shaking his head.

"Don't worry about me, P'Tae. I will fixed something later for myself. You just go ahead." Said Copter trying his best to talk as normal as he could.

"Are you sure? Oh ha, about the new guy. You should knew him too." Said Tae making Copter felt irritated now when the new guy was being said again and again, just like he was reminded again and again how special he was to Tae.

"Oh yeah? Who is he?" Said Copter anyway.

"The server guy. The one who always serve the food whenever Godt and you.... I meant...." Hearing Tae was unsure how to say things, Copter just smile and nodding his head.

"It's okay P'Tae. I remember the boy. Bas was his name, right?" Tae nods his head while worriedly look at Copter afraid he could make Copter hurt by mentioning Godt's name.

"You should go down. I'll be okay with my own dinner." Said Copter when he saw how Tae was thinking too much about Godt. He was supposed to know that Godt was already a history, Stupid P'Tae.

"Okay then. If you tired, just take a rest okay." Tae said before standing up and walking out of the door leaving Copter alone with his own thoughts.

Remembering about the boy, that's why the new boy felt familiar when he saw the guy before. And thinking how cute the guy is, Copter knew that maybe, just maybe, Tae already get smitten with him. His tears just have to fall down without him trying to stop it anymore. He just cried himself till he fall asleep.
