Chapter 9

Godt trying to focus on his job but he keeps on looking at the same file on his laptop, couldn't even move one inch from there, and it was already countless times he was sighing, not knowing what to do, or what he can do. He was left alone, literally.

Copter left him when Tee makes it clear to Copter that they both had intimate relationship. It's the truth, but at the same time he didn't want to let Copter go. Was it his ego? Was it him just be possessive, but he just couldn't let Copter go just like that. He was been so use to Copter been home when he gets back, and when he doesn't, he felt lonely. He's been a jerk, and he knows that.

Then, Tae left. His best friend of years who always support him, and gave him a good advice when needed to, left and said that he couldn't forgive him and Tee for what happened. Who could he blame it for? None other than himself. Tae must have feels betrayed and at the same time he knew Tae always cared for Copter, since the day he introduced Copter to him. He did said that he treat Copter just like a brother, but he doubt that. But it doesn't matter anymore.

And Tee? Tee was so mad at him trying to find Copter, and worried for the guy even though Godt make it clear that he makes his decision and chose him already. But Tee still couldn't accept the idea of him worried for Copter, who he describe as usurper, and even though he thought that was ridiculous, he couldn't voice it out loud though. And suddenly one day Tee told him he needs to leave and asked him to wait. He will be back. What the......? With no explanation, with no more words utter, he left just like that. And don't even calls or message him, and even not reply to his messages and doesn't return any calls at all.

He was raking on his hair frustrated and stressed for he couldn't understand where his life started to get this complicated. Was it the day he fell in love with Copter on his business trip? Or was it from the day he slept with Tee and realize how he felt to his best friend despite having boyfriend waiting for him back home? He knew he ruined it for them all....but he couldn't stop it from happening nor he could turn back the time.

Staff in the office? They knew about him and Copter, since he always invited them for party at his home. But with their fights and Tae resign and all, they might have an idea what was happening, but no one dared to ask him on his face. He could hear people whispering here and there, but that would be his least concerned, was all because he didn't want to stress himself more than he already is.

The commotion around him took him out from his reverie. He looks around to find out what the commotions are for, only to be startled when he saw Tee with his new look, and that was not why he was shocked, but the way he brought himself, and with a personel following him close behind.

Tee was smiling looking at him before change his focused to the people around. The personel that they knew is the Director's secretary followed him close behind, had take charge and walked ahead before taking the attention of everyone around.

"Good morning all. Meet your new Deputy Director Mr. Tee, and this department along with other few departments will be under the supervision of Mr. Tee. I know you all knew him as your colleague up till a few days ago, but now, he is ready to supervise the company's operation as well as being a successor to this business. I hope you will give him full supports and if there are any problems make sure to discuss with Mr. Tee. A new secretary will start working for Mr. Tee tomorrow, so, if anything, you can contact Mr. Tee through the secretary."

With a confused face of everybody, they were clapping their hands hesitantly before the fact that Tee is the successor of the company makes them feels excited. They never thought Tee could be the son of the Company Director since he never showed any hints. he kept that secret really well. Besides, Tee was a very friendly colleague, even though he wasn't close to anyone else other than Tae and Godt, but he was friendly to others. Knowing that kind of person is their boss now, makes them felt somehow relief. Work seems more interesting now.

But it was different for Godt. He didn't know how to react with this 'big' news that he, too, like everyone else just knew about this successor thing about Tee. Suppose his partner in life and best friend for years. Godt was just looking at Tee expressionless, while standing still at his place.

"Thank you guys. Please, don't be awkward around me. Treat me as you always be, and I really wanted to thank you all for everything you've taught me all this time. I will try my hardest to do a good job in my position, so, if anything, feel free to tell me if anything. Thank you all, you may all continue with what you are doing."

Before the secretary trying to take him away from there, Tee was stopping the guy asking for a moment while he turned to Godt who was standing still beside his own desk, trying to process everything that was happening right now. He thought that maybe he had turned out to be stupid after everything that had happened.

Tee was smiling widely coming closer, while some colleague would watch his steps, but he ignored all those attention and focus only to the face that he fall in love with for years now, taking Godt's hands into his hold as gentle as he could, looking up at the confused face of Godt. "I know you must have had a lot of questions now, but I need to attend a lot of meeting today, so let's go back home together today. And then we will talk and I will answer every question you had. Sorry for making you wait, but I'm not going anywhere, not without you. See you later, I love you."

Tee was turning around leaving still dumbfounded Godt behind who couldn't actually accepting the fact that Tee was the heir to the owner of the company. He always knew, by the way Tee act and brought himself, that he was actually from a wealthy family, but that was never any concerned for them, being best friends. Now that that relationship had change, with everything that happened, getting to know about Tee's family should come later, that now he thought that was not a good idea, at all. Not because of anything, it was all because he felt awkward with all of this.

Where would he place himself now? They were friend turned boyfriend, but now they were colleague turned boss and worker? He couldn't even processed how he feels that he think he didn't think he like the fact that he just knew. This all makes him feels, awkward, frustrated and been lied to that makes him a little bit of angry, that all those feelings mixed had put him in this agony. Now, how could he work now? They sure had a lot to talk about.
