Chapter 37

"I...i..i l..lo...v..e y..yo....u, P." Said Copter on that beautiful evening, after they both had their coffee on their favorite balcony. It was a day after Copter had been discharged from the hospital. Copter himself had decided that that magic words will be his speech therapy and he will said it every day to Tae making Tae's smile wider and felt like he had the whole world in front of him, just hearing those words from Copter.

"I love you too, my baby Cop." And as always, Tae will kiss Copter's head after saying his reply. They will always cuddle on the leisure chair while looking up ahead on the hill view that Copter loves the most. And after discharge from the hospital, Copter was making it as his resting place, if he didn't do anything else.

The ringing from his phone was taking Tae out from his memories. He didn't even realize he was shedding his tears. He was wiping his tears away, before answering the phone which still ringing loudly that it could get to his nerves. Seeing the name on the phone making him pouting.

"Yes......" He said right after he answer the call.

"Tae, are you still sleeping? We had meeting with the new supplier company today, remember? Wake up now and please be at your best."

The nagging Park was never missed calling him every day since the day he was discharge from the hospital. It had been a month ever since and Copter had been missing for a month and eight days, and Tae keeps on counting.

"I'm already on my way down. Stop nagging at me, and stop getting on my nerves, you prick." That sounded normal enough to Park and Lam who make the call on loudspeaker to Tae. However, they knew Tae was far from being normal, and that guy was still looking for Copter as hard as he ever be from the start. Nothing is ever change, but it was enough, as long as Tae keeps on trying hard, because they will be there, as always, to help him.

"Okay, then, hurry up. Let's have breakfast before we go there." Said Park before finish the call. They both looking at each other smiling.

"P, can we both join you for breakfast?" Kimmon who appeared out of nowhere with Bas making Lam and Park a little bit jump but they were able to come back to their reality right away.

"Of course. Do you even have to ask?" Said Lam making both Kimmon and Bas taking their seat. Park and Lam was looking intently at Kimmon and Bas, who doesn't look that good. They both had it hard for Copter's disappearance because the blame themselves for it. "If only"..... was their words almost every time Copter's topic had been brought up.

With his background, Kimmon had tried everything on his end to help finding Copter, but just like everyone else, his result was no difference.

"Are you still blaming yourself kids?" Park's question out of nowhere making Kimmon and Bas looking down their fingers on their laps.

"This is my last warning. That kind of thinking, I want both of you getting rid of it this instance. Everyone knows how you both care for him a lot, and it's not even helping Tae. So stop it. I'm tired of saying the same thing every time I saw you both, so stop it this instance."

"Don't be so hard on them, Park. At least they are still here for me, for Copter. They'll get better, don't worry."

Tae's words who came from their back making them shocked but at the same time relief. The Tae that can casually talk to Kimmon and Bas now is actually is good. The reason it was hard for these boys to forgive themselves was it was hard for Tae to even see them, nor talk to them before. Kimmon was the most shocked with this situation making Tae looking back at him with a gentle smile.

"I'm sorry I make it harder for you both. I know how much Copter meant to you as friend Kim,  and that you were having it hard as much as I did, but I had to add to it. I'm sorry." Hearing Tae's words, Kimmon who was trying to never cry in front of Tae before couldn't keep in his tears and was crying in Tae's arms today. He was sorry, and he was regretted so much of that day, he pour it all out.

"I'm sorry, P." all he could say. Bas who was watching his boyfriend struggle all this time couldn't help but to cry too.

Tae was calming Kimmon down, but he couldn't keep his tears too.

The restaurant's staff and most of the customers could only watching them with sympathy since this situation had been regularly happened inside the restaurant. They could understand the reason why, and they were feeling sorry and hope for things to get better. They were praying that Copter could come back one day too.

"I'm sorry I couldn't be there for you and could only send my men to help you. You know that I'm busy with my treatment and taking care of Godt too, right?"

Tee said over the phone while Tae was in his way to the meeting. After that tearful situation, they were able to calm down and to have their breakfast together. Tae's appetite wasn't really okay, but everything he does now was forcing himself to be okay, or at least, to look okay. He was just getting into the car when he receive the call from Tee.

"Of course I knew that. So, how's Godt? Any progress?" Tae said, answering Tee while giving him another question.

A week after Copter's disappearance, the news reach Tee and he was sending his best men to help Tae and the others tracking down Copter.

"Still the same, but doctor said that his brain activity was getting better. He said we could have some hope for him to waking up again."

"That's good to hear. I really hope he could get up soon. You were waiting long enough." Tee was smiling hearing Tae. He never thought that Tae could forgive him easily, but then again, he always knew that Tae is a great person. That's why he really wish that Tae could be happy with Copter as he wished, but this kind of things had to happen to him.

"I hope the best for you too." He wished for it from his deepest heart.

"Thanks. Anyway, I had business to tend to. Talk to you later." Tae then finish the call and was looking out of the window.

'I miss you so much, Cop. I love you, please come back to me, baby, no matter what, okay.' He chanted this in his heart all the way until they reach their destination.

Tae was taking his usual stroll on evening down the road. He makes it as his habit after he lost Copter. At first it was only to find Copter, but now he was taking the breeze as his therapy to calm himself down while looking around, still looking for Copter. It was as one of his way of never stop trying.

He just hopes that however small his effort was, it will help him finding his Copter.

It was already more than three months, and he couldn't adapt nor he feel he ever could, to the life where Copter wasn't around. Even now, no matter where he turn in his house, all he could see was Copter. It makes him missing Copter even more, and he actually thankful that he had that hallucination. At least, it makes him feel like Copter never really left. Though at some point he was afraid he would be crazy enough that he couldn't differentiate hallucination with reality.

He turn around and was making his way back to his building, taking his walk on opposite side of the road. Sometimes the nightmare of Copter's accident would come to him, and watching that same road where it happened make it worse. He was wondering that maybe it was his bad luck that makes everything happen to Copter, happen. Even with that thinking, he still think that he didn't want to lose Copter and will do everything he could to bring Copter back.

He was walking some more when he saw a back of a guy hiding behind street light pole, looking at the direction where his building is, making him frowning. The guy look so skinny, and he could see blister almost on all his body, just like Copter was when he found him on the island some time ago. Wait, Copter?

With that Tae was running as fast as he could until he arrived just behind the guy who was still oblivious of his presence.

"Copter? Is that you, baby?"
