Welcome to The Sergeant, The Soldier, The Survivor, my Bucky Barnes X Reader book! I've adored writing this book, it's been so much fun so I hope you'll enjoy reading it just as much!

A few things to note before we get started... primarily, I'm not a Marvel know-it-all. I've had immense help from a close friend of mine who is, and I've also done my research by re-watching the films/series. Some plot points will be altered for the sake of the story but there is a small possibility I may have some of the lore wrong - I've done my research (and plenty of it) but please bare this in mind!

This book is of an adult nature, as not only is there the occasional chapter that includes sexual content but there'll also be chapters describing gory situations and themes some readers may find upsetting. I will be putting warnings on these chapters when they appear so that you're prepared.

There's a lot about (y/n) (l/n) that's already planned. Obviously she's based on you, the reader, but she does have one hell of a past, so I'll do a profile on her in the next part just so I can go into depth. I'd recommend giving it a check over before starting just so that plot points that appear in the book later make sense.

After the prologue, this book will start right in the midst of Captain America: Civil War. From there it will develop through Bucky's time in Wakanda, Infinity War, Endgame and most importantly, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Credit to the title of this book goes to a comment I saw on Pinterest! Unfortunately I don't know the original artist of the front cover (I added the text), but if anyone knows I'd love for them to comment because it's an incredible piece of artwork!
