It's been almost a month since I left Istryis. I spent most of my time in the storage chamber, looking through what my mother left behind.

I managed to find a book. It was a designer dress book that was actually quite interesting to read. It was addressed for Zandrina to have. Zandrina loved sewing and designing clothes. If I remember correctly Estella watched her mother and Zandrina shop for hours on end. They were close.

Seraphina left little gifts for all three of us.

My present was a globe. It looked like a light. When the lights were turned off, it would spin, showcasing bright stars on the ceiling. It was beautiful.

If I return back to Ronkia I want to show Alastair this. I can already imagine his bright smile.

Oh Tair, I miss you so much.

"Estella!" Caelus enters the chamber with such force.

"Yes, do you need something? What's wrong?" I stood from my seat to meet him.

"The nobles have begun their move. One of my spies returned with news that a shipment of magic stones is being taken from Istyris to Osertia."

"They're already shipping them?" I raise my brows in surprise. The nobles didn't wait to make their move.

"They're using the cover of your kidnapping to search the border. I believe they plan to pierce a hole through the shields to enter." He rubs the side of his temple.

"They would pierce it with dark magic, yes?" I lift my eyes to meet his.

"Yes, there is no other way. Dark magic removes other magic around it and it's hard to control. The person that is using this magic is skillful. I heard it could be a sorcerer."

This could be the sorcerer that is controlling my father. Dark magic users are rare which is why the shields remain intact. If there is a sorcerer, they'll be able to break through the shields without anyone noticing because they also remove the magic sensors.

If my father is controlling this shipment, then there should be someone on the receiving end. The Osertian nobles that came with Caelus are still in Istyrian territory making them useless to help. This means that there is still someone in Osertia that is controlling the trade. Someone important, that it wasn't necessary for them to come to the meeting.

It's possible they split their forces so they wouldn't get caught. It would be smart.

"Let's go then." I motion to the door with my head.

In a stern voice he says, "I'm not letting you go. It's too dangerous."

"We'll be in danger if we don't go." I counter.

"I'll go, you stay here."

"And what if it's a trap? You need me to be there. I'll stay out of trouble so let me go with you," I convince him.

"Fine." He says with a huff.

I just smile at my victory.

I was dressed in black, both my pants and tunic. This was a stealth operation so I had to fit in. Plus I missed the pants.

We used the teleportation orb to take us to the Istyris-Osertia border which was lined with thick forests. The green shrubs tickled my thighs as we walked with ease.

Caelus and I were accompanied by around ten other knights, all looking like they've already fought a war. They must be the ones that actually know how Caelus actually is. Not the facade the other people believe.
