I awoke to soft tapping on our door, opal got up to check it was the burly white stripe male telling us it was time for the campfire if we wanted to go. I jumped up making up my mind right then hoping I wont be shot down.

Mister white stripe would you want be my male. He had turned around to leave when I said this he whipped back around so fast with a look of astonishment on his stoic face. Are you sure female I am a honey badger we are not considered desirable by most females.

I scoffed at that well I'm not most females I find you very attractive and you appear very strong I need that for my family. If you need time to think about it I will understand I do not wish to force you into saying yes. He jumped forward grabbing my hand shouting no and startling me. He immediately drops my hand after realizing what he did apoligizing.

I wish to be your male if you will truly have me he says surprisingly looking a little shy. May it's settled then I said while clapping my hands together.would yo like a name now or do you wish to wait he again looked astonished and I could hear Jasper snickering behind.

Just get used to being surprised you will quickly learn juniper is not like most females Jasper said.

White stripe looked at me with his pitch black eyes and asked for a name now if I was truly willing. I can tell we are definitely going to have to work on trust with him.

I immediately knew what to call him how does obsidian sound were I'm from its a stone that is as black as your beautiful eyes. He blushed and said I accept obsidian as my name. And just like Jasper and opal obsidian glows like the gods themselves were accepting his name.

I'm definitely starting a pattern with these names. I'm not very creative but I like the names. Alright let's go to the fire I say as I grab obsidians hand as he leads the way to the fire.
