Ciara turns away from the edge of the ship and see's the mermaid on the deck. She walks over to Hook and he grows frustrated and yells, "Get that thing off my ship!"
"No. Now we have a hostage." Regina says refusing his wishes.
"Mom, you don't know what your dealing with." Ciara snaps at her mother standing between Regina and Hook.
"Don't yell at me, when were you even on neverland anyways." Regina asked her daughter.
"It's easy disappearing with a mother who was too focused on revenge to pay attention to where her own daughter was." Ciara said and Regina felt more guilt creep up with her, she was never a good mom to Ciara until the curse but even then she still failed her daughter.
"I hate to say it, but I'm with Hook. Those things just tried to kill us." David said breaking the growing argument between Ciara and Regina.
"And perhaps we should find out why." Regina replies.
"How? By torturing her?" Mary Margaret asks.
"Well, if need be. Sure." Regina continues and watches as the mermaid grabs a conch shell and blows into it like a horn.
"What the hell is that?" Emma demands as she walks closer to the creature.
"A warning." The mermaid replied with an evil smirk as a clap of thunder echoed through the sky. "Let me go... or die"
...
*Neverland past*
Ciara followed Hook onto the main deck when they heard thunder growling in the distance.
"What the hell is going on?" Ciara yelled at the crew as the ship began to sway in the water.
"We're under attack." one of the men yelled and Ciara went to the edge of the ship trying to locate the threat.
Before she could process what was happening a hand shot up from the sea and grabbed Ciara pulling her overboard. Hook rushed over to the side panicking as he tried to spot Ciara but it was too dark too see anything. He dived off the ship into the sea and swan towards a light glowing under the water.
Ciara was flailing her arms trying to blast the mermaid with er magic as the creature held her underwater trying to drown her. Hook swam over to them and shoved the mermaid off Ciara. Grabbing his love he quicky swam to the surface and Ciara gasped for air. She looked at Killian who had a concerned look plastered on her face, she gave him a reassuring smile and transported them back onto the ship.
Back safely on the deck the two embraced at Ciara continued to breathe heavily, "You alright love?" Hook asked as he cupper her face with his hand.
Ciara nodded and breathed out a yes as she looked in his eyes, "You saved me"
"I would do anything for you love." Hook said and pulled her into a kiss.
*Neverland present*
"What is this? What did you do?!" David asked yelling at the mermaid after she blew the shell.
"Let me go." The mermaid demanded.
"Not until you tell us. Or we make you tell us." Regina threatened conjuring a fireball in her hands.
"Threatening her isn't the way to motivate her." Mary Margaret said stepping in front of Regina making her roll her eyes.
"Well, I'm all out of fish food." Regina retaliated sarcastically which made her daughter choke back a laugh at Snow's unimpressed look.
