After the storm, the hero's and villains make their way up the beach on the far side of the island.
"We don't have to do it this way. I can fix the Jolly Roger. My magic is powerful enough. We can execute the pirate's plan." Regina complained as she looked at the hero's
"Sneak attack? Let's not be naive. Save your magic. We'll need it later, because Pan already knows we're here. It's time we stopped running. Gold was right. This land is run on belief. All of us have been too busy being at each other's throats to be believers. I was as wrong as anyone else. It's time for all of us to believe... not in magic, but in each other." Emma said, looking between Regina and Ciara
"You wanna be friends? After everything that's happened between all of us? After all the lovey dovey looks at my daughters boyfriend." Regina snapped at the blonde whilst outing her.
"I don't want or expect that. I know there's a lot of history here and a lot of hate. And I don't make love eyes at Hook." Emma said in defence, trying to convince herself.
"Oh please, Swan, everyone sees it, and just to make things clear, he is mine." Ciara said, walking up to Emma and glaring at the girl. She felt a tug on her arm, and Hook pulled her into his arms and used his hand to tilt her head up so she looked at him.
"Don't worry, love, you're the only princess for me." Hook said, and Ciara smiled at his words, pulling him into a quick kiss.
"We don't need to be friends. What we need to know is that the only way to get Henry back is cooperation." Emma clarified and ignored the jealousy in her heart.
David scoffs and gestures to the three villains.' "With her? With him? No, Emma, we have to do this the right way."
"No, we don't. We just need to succeed. And the way we do that is by just being who we are... a hero, a villain, a pirate. It doesn't matter which, because we're gonna need all those skills, whether we can stomach them or not." Emma argued with her father, knowing they'll have to do whatever it takes to save Henry.
"And what's your skill, "saviour"?" Regina asks.
"I'm a mother, and now I'm also your leader. So either help me get my son back or get out of the way." Emma stated, and Ciara rolled her eyes.
"ermmmm, technically, you haven't even been a mother for a year, or legally have parental rights over him." Ciara said, causing Emma to roll her eyes. Ignoring Ciara's truthful statement, Emma draws her sword and walks into the forest. Her parents follow, and Hook shrugs at Regina before they follow after the Charming's, Hook dragging Ciara with him.
...
Ciara, David, Emma, Hook, Mary Margaret, and Regina trek through the jungle with Hook, leading the way much to David's dismay.
"The ridge is just a few hundred paces up ahead." Hook announced as he gestured to the top of a cliff.
"You really think we're gonna be able to see Pan's hideout?" Emma asked.
"From there, we should be able to see everything, including where he's keeping my brother." Ciara said, emphasising 'my' whilst glaring at the blonde.
"You know, I could have just poofed us up here in an instant," Regina said, complaining about the time they were wasting with hiking.
"Where? Have you any idea what's up here or anywhere? There are dangers all about it. Only I can guide us past them." Hook said, causing Ciara to elbow him, "and Ciara."
"He's right. Hook's lived here before. If he says hiking up is the best way, then we listen." Emma announced, causing both David and Ciara to roll their eyes. David walks ahead of the rest and cuts down branches that are blocking their pathway. He sees a patch of thorns and moves to slash them, but Hook and Ciara stop him. "No. No!"
"I can handle a couple of thorns." David groaned at the pirate annoyed.
"That's dreamshade. It's not the thorns you have to worry about. It's the poison they inject you with. This plant is the source of the toxins I used on The Dark One." Hook explained as he pulled David's arm away from the thorns.
"The poison that almost killed Gold?" Emma asked.
"No, the tea we served at a party," Ciara replied sarcastically, and Hook laughed before continuing, "Indeed. I used a concentrated dose. In its natural form, death would be much slower and far more painful. I suggest we go this way."
"We'll go this way." David said as he went off, and Mary Margaret and Regina followed behind, leaving Ciara, Hook, and Emma.
"Your father's a distrustful fellow." Hook said.
"He's just not used to working with the bad guys." Emma replied.
"I can assure you, on this island, we are not the bad guys." Hook assured Emma, looking at Ciara, knowing about the power of the boy who rules the island.
"Yeah, well, Pan's not supposed to be one either." Emma said.
"What possibly gave you that idea?" Hook asked.
"Every story I ever heard as a child." Emma replies as she continues to trail slowly behind the couple.
Well, they got it all wrong. Pan is the most treacherous villain I've ever faced. Tell me something, love. In these stories, what was I like? Other than a villain. Handsome, I gather." Hook asked, smirking at Ciara.
"If waxed moustaches and perms are your thing." Ciara responded as she recalled the appearance of the pirate in the film she watched with Henry years ago.
"I take it by your tone, perms are bad?" Hook asked, but before Ciara could reply, David yelled something from ahead.
"Up here! We made it."
"Pan's lair should be just right..." Hook began but realised that Neverland had grown from the last time he was there.
"Where? All I see is jungle." Regina groaned as she scanned the tress in the distance.
"Aye. The Dark Jungle. It's, uh, grown so much since I last stepped foot in Neverland." Hook explained, making Regina annoyed.
"So this nature hike was for nothing."
"Hook may have led us astray, but at least we're in a good position to start combing the jungle." David announced, and Ciara jabbed him with her elbow at his comment about Hook.
"Oops," She said as she walked past David towards the edge of the peak.
"Not exactly. The Dark Jungle's the last place you wanna set foot. We'll have to go around it. In order to do that, we're gonna need our strength. I suggest we make camp." Hook said.
"You wanna sleep while my son is out there suffering?" Regina questioned, annoyed.
"If we want to live long enough to save the boy. Yes." Hook said as he sat down, resting his back against a tree. Ciara walked over to him and sat between his legs and rested into his embrace.
Everyone reluctantly followed their steps and made camp for the night. When everyone was asleep, only Hook and Ciara remained awake. They sat in silence before Ciara broke it.
"How are you feeling about being back here?"
Hook sighed softly at her question and continued to draw patterns on her shoulder, "I'm doing okay, love, just didn't think I'd ever come back to this dreadful island." Hook responded.
"I know, neither did I. Killian?"
"Yes, love."
"Promise me that we'll be together and Emma won't come between us." Ciara said, her voice faltering slightly at the thought of him leaving her for Emma.
"Love, i'd trade my ship if it meant we'd be with each other for the rest of our lives. I'm not interested in Swan in any way. I promise you that. I love you." Hook replied, and Ciara smiled at his words, knowing he meant it. She tilted her head up and kissed him softly, pulling away she said, "I love you too." They both stayed in each others arms on the ground, eventually falling asleep.
