The asteroid belt.

the pinnacle ring separating the earth from the rest of the galaxy's planets, and at the mix of the rubble of stones lay an asteroid-shaped G.H.O.S.T. International Space Station.

After many attempts on the space station throughout the years, the organization decided to leave a decoy orbiting around Earth and relocate to this part of the system. Atlas looked upon the glass view of the station in deep thought, he was currently on route to come back through Earth after a long mission via the Ionic gates built by the R & D.

Atlas was the international ambassador for G.H.O.S.T. as many respected him, and viewed him as the messiah of the organization. Atlas hated the attention, he was nearing the age of retirement being 50 years old, he wondered if he should have handed in papers already, he could be currently relaxing on the beaches of Bora Bora.

Alas, he knew he couldn't, because truth be told the organization would fall without him. G.H.O.S.T., The Galactic Homeland Operations and Special Forces Taskforce, was created ten years ago as the result of the Ace War.

Heroes were now the norm on Earth however they were subjected to prejudice as vigilantes even as they fought to overthrow an enhanced tyrant by the name of Saro Toveli, or as the world had feared her as, the Void. Over time a group of heroes, called the Elites rose against Void's disregard for humanity as she had obliterated countless countries and nations without a second breath. The Elites are composed of 6 legends by the names of Ace, Atlas, Griever, an A.I. called H.O.P.E, Viper, and Grim. An archer by the code name of Ace made the Elites in preparation for the longest war humanity had faced, leading to countless deaths and many legends throughout the early G.H.O.S.T. community. Eventually Void resorted to her nuclear powers, which was thwarted by Ace as he sacrificed himself to defeat her. In the aftermath, the Elites helped governments get back on their feet, with Atlas as the liaison and his former sidekick Grim helping the people in any way they could.

As Society got back on its feet, the hate of super-powered individuals grew in the streets. Many blamed them for the destruction that came upon their planet, protests broke out and crime was starting to rise in the new age of humanity. In response, the elites formed an organization that was under the authority of a non-powered individual hero capable of maintaining and responding to future threats the earth had in store.

Atlas, a former outlaw and hero to all, became the first Director of G.H.O.S.T., as both the governments and the people approved. Atlas didn't have powers, just like Ace only had a bow and arrow, but his almost supernatural skill of predicting an opponent's moves and ability to use any object as a weapon with pure accuracy made him a formidable foe along with his arsenal of unique weapons.

His constantly transforming liquid Zion blade and his wind blade brought fear in the worst criminals when he used them. Along with his cybernetic arm he gained from a wound he garnered in the war, he was blessed with the spirit of battle from the god of war, Tyranos.

Atlas blinked as the name came across, hoping he hadn't accidentally summoned him, Atlas used to be in the special forces under Void's tyranny before he rebelled and found himself three feet in a grave, Atlas was brought forth to Tyranos as he commended his ferocity.

Tyranos taught with Atlas, giving him the ability of enhanced mastery in combat with every battle he fought, only to return one sinful soul to him until he wanted to resign from his life as a hero. Atlas suddenly turned as he felt an explosion rock the station, he sighed in annoyance.

I can't catch a break, he thought.

Atlas was currently in a silk-woven suit from his meeting with the board of officials, he was filling in for the current Director, Grim. Atlas was silently cursing out his former sidekick as he started sprinting towards the source of the explosion. Grim was a powerful individual even besides the Director quota, but he was placed as his reputation and charisma overwhelmed their fear of potential power abuse as a leader.
