It was about midnight when Dahlia stirred from her sleep.

Something made me wake up, she thought.

She threw on a plain gown, one she wore when out on Levina, along with her robes and went outside. As Dahlia made her way through the castle, the only sound you could hear was the pitter-patter of her bare feet and her soft breathing. When she made it outside, the wind was blowing. She shivered as she walked towards the edge of Shatter Heart Cliff. Dahlia made her way past the fountain in the middle, and down past the little grove of trees.

Dahlia gazed down the cliff, it was a jaw-dropping view. The cliff was straight down until you hit the town below. Of course, any villager would know the only way to get to the castle was a hidden entrance below in the town's mine, after that a 2-hour walk up. But Dahlia didn't want to walk, she hovered her foot over the drop then silently she let herself fall. The wind blew into Dahlia's face, but she didn't mind. And as the ground got closer and closer, she put two fingers to her mouth and let out a sharp whistle. She was free-falling for a minute until she saw Levina come up behind her. Dahlia quickly grabbed onto the dragon's horns as Levina swiftly shot up. Dahlia let out a shout of joy, no one knows this feeling but her. The feeling of being up in the sky, flying above the town, being able to touch the clouds, and covering a day's journey in only a couple of hours. It was incredible.

"Why are you up so early?" Levina questioned as they soared above the town.

The town was surrounding Shatter Heart Cliff, and was called Ansone Village. The locals there enjoyed the protection of the cliff and the fact that a dragon watched over them.

Dahlia shook her head, "I couldn't sleep. I figured this would help me out."

"By falling asleep on me, and costing me my own sleep," Levina said sarcastically, making a quick turn to circle back around the castle.

Dahlia just nodded as she laid her head on Levina's white neck. She watched as Levina dipped down towards the ground, then just as quickly came back up, doing this over and over again. Like a mother cradling a baby in her arms. Slowly Dahlia's eyes started to close; Levina began to hum. Another thing Dahlia liked about Levina is that only Dahlia could hear her. It was nice to be able to have someone who wouldn't talk behind your back, not like Levina would do such a thing.

"Good Night," Dahlia whispered as she let her mind drift off to sleep.

When Levina arrived back at the castle, about an hour after Dahlia had fallen asleep, she was met with two guards. Ethan and Sylva were waiting for her when she landed.

"I knew she would do something like this. To get stuff off her mind," Sylva stated, as she gestured to Ethan, "Carry her to her room. I'll get her stuff."

Ethan nodded as slid his arm under her leg and around her back, picking her up, and waited for Sylva to grab her things. Sylva quickly grabbed her jacket, which had fallen off Dahlia but Levina managed to grab it just in time. Sylva gestured to Ethan to follow her, so the trio set off into the castle. As they were walking, Ethan heard a tiny bark. When he looked down, a dog was standing in front of them. It wasn't any ordinary dog, it was a rog. Rog's were found throughout the castle, they took the form of an elegant rug with a tail sticking out the back of the rug, but right now it looked like a corgi with the carpet laid across its lower half. It was barking at the knights, and probably saying something very mean in Rog.

"I'm sorry for stepping on your tail. I didn't see you," Ethan apologized to the rog.

The rog then began to bark at him. At this time Ethan was wishing he hadn't skipped, Get to Know Creatures Languages. Ethan thought it was a waste of time. Now he wished he did take that class.

Sylva mumbled something, then she began to bark back at the rog. It seemed like they were in a serious conversation. After about a minute of arguing the rog seemed to calm down. After another growl in Ethan's direction, the rog trotted off down the corridor.

"Let's continue, shall we?" Sylva said, sweeping her arm out in front of her.

Ethan nodded, readjusted the Princess in his arms, and kept walking.

"What did the rog say?" Ethan asked curiously.

Sylva glanced at him before saying, "Well, he insulted you. Then said something along the lines of 'Are you blind?' and 'You should be hanged.' I told him that it was an accident and you were a knight."

"Oh...Great." Ethan replied, being enemies with a rog was not something you want.

Rog's tended to gang up on people if one of them was offended. That was something Ethan did not want.
