TW: drunk-like state, big words(😅)
"Is everyone alright?" Ethan called out as the dust settled around them.
It was pitch dark, and his eyes weren't yet used to the scenery. He felt for a wall, but instead tripped over something warm.
"Get off me," someone groaned as Ethan was pushed to the side.
"Sorry...Sylva?" He questioned, but immediately knew he was wrong. Sylva's voice was lower than this high pitched one.
"No, Achal," she grumbled while someone on the other side of the space snorted. That was Sylva, but where was Dahlia and Arnoux?
"Dahlia? Arnoux?" Ethan's voice echoed across the small room as he felt Achal shift to move beside him.
"Here," he heard Arnoux say weakly.
"Neerg thgil," Achal muttered, as tendrils of what looked like green fire, swirled around her hand but never actually touched her.
Whatever she did, did the trick. The room lit up in a soft green glow. Ethan could see Sylva across the room, and Arnoux lying against the wall with Dahlia laying farther away.
"Are you guys alright?" Ethan asked as he kneeled down beside Dahlia.
"I'm fined!" Arnoux yelled in a questionable tone. Ethan raised an eyebrow at him, before looking down at Dahlia. He gently shook her shoulder.
"Dahlia, get up," he urged.
She didn't stir.
"Dahlia," he shook her shoulders again, a little harder this time.
"Maybe Prince Charming should giver a kiss! True love's kiss breaks the sleep, that's wha' my mama used to say. Before she left," Arnoux then began to bawl while rambling in his native language.
Ethan turned to look at Achal, who was shaking her head, her ginger hair falling around her shoulders. She had a disapproving look plastered on her face.
"Um, I don't think that's how it goes," Sylva said, raising her eyebrow. Arnoux turned to her wide-eyed.
"Wow," was all Arnoux said.
"'Wow' what?" Sylva asked, taking a step back as Arnoux jogged up beside her.
"Oh, great," Achal mumbled. Arnoux then began following Sylva around the room.
"What's wrong with him?" Ethan inquired. Sylva began running around the cave with Arnoux close on her tail.
"The spell he use was a old and very powerful spell. It takes...a lot of energy from someone plus the fact that Quicksilver got beaten up, and since they...they are connected he...got beat up. There are also two different ways a Sileronian can react to energy loss. Pass out or," she waved her hand at Arnoux who was now clinging onto Sylva's leg, "that."
"Get off," Sylva huffed as she tried to pry Arnoux off of her.
"Sylva? Ethan?" A soft voice broke Ethan's thoughts as Dahlia sat up rubbing her head.
"Good, you're awake," Ethan let out a sigh of relief. He helped her stand.
"What happened?" Her cheeks then puffed, turning to the side she puked. Ethan quickly pulled back her hair and waited patiently for her to stop, but she continued until she was dry-heaving.
"That doesn't sound good," Achal stated, walking over to them.
Dahlia wiped the back of her hand across her mouth and looked at Achal.
"You're right I don't feel good at all," she looked down at the mess she made, "I think that was my lunch."
"Here," Achal started rummaging through her small pack. She pulled out a tiny leaf. "Put this under your tongue, it should help with the nausea. It might make you sleepy though."
