"Tel emit esrever," Kalabhiti muttered with his hands extended toward the iron throne. "Ot a emit erehw Eh sehtaerb." He began to circle the throne. "Erehw Eh sklaw."

"Kalabhiti!"

The man clenched his teeth and turned to see the Princess and her companions. A sly grin spread across his face when he realized his plan had worked. A Royal Ansonian, a Teedorian, a Sileronian, a Spirit Rapport, and a Sprite all here in the same place. Just what he needed.

"Hello, Queen," Kalabhiti replied and Dahlia felt a shiver run down her spine at his answer.

"If you move I will let this arrow fly," Ethan told Kalabhiti in a monotone voice.
"You will?" Kalabhiti inquired. Ethan frowned at his behavior. He was being too casual for his liking, it was like he had already won this battle.

"Dolion," Marai stated while she stepped toward him.

"Ah, if it isn't Desdemona, the ill-fated. Are you enjoying your life?" Kalabhiti asked smugly.

"What do you think?"

"I think so."

"You killed me!"

"But I granted your wish of becoming a sprite, didn't I?"

Dahlia could see Marai physically shaking, from anger or anguish, she didn't know. She wanted to give her a hug, but stopped herself realizing Marai was way older than how she looked.

"I was only six. I did not know what I wanted! You doltish, vacuous, brobdingnagian!" Marai accused.

"Such big words for someone so little."

"Go perish in a hovel. You have already lost, Betrayer."

"No, I haven't. The only one who has lost is you," Kalabhiti stated calmly. Before Dahlia could process what had happened Kalabhiti had collected blood from Sylva's and Ethan's wounds, Arnoux's nosebleed, her scratched face, and sliced Marai's wrist for her blood. He then turned to the throne and wiped the blood on the chair. "A emit erehw Eh selur! Teerg eht wen Gnik, Rimah!"
