The next morning, Happy dropped Addie off at the compound when he picked up Tony for the day's meetings at the company; Natasha quickly took responsibility for the preschooler and took her up to the four-year-old's room so the girl could sleep a bit longer since it was five in the morning. She gently wrapped the girl up and flipped on the switch for the night light when she woke up. She placed the toddler's backpack by the door and silently closed it before going downstairs to train with Steve before everyone else would get up for the day. A couple hours later, Addie woke up and rolled out of the bed, landing feet first before she started toddling over to the door.

She looked up to the ceiling, crossing her arms expectantly, "Arvis?" she called.

"Yes itty bitty?" The British sounding AI asked, whirring to life as soon as she spoke his name.

"You open door pease?"

The door clicked and swung open slightly so she could pull it open, "Of course Tiny tot," he replied, "Would you like me to call someone for you?" he asked.

She shook her head, "Uh uh, where Tasha?" she asked, pulling the door open as she shook her head.

There was a short pause, "The scary red assassin is in the kitchen with the capsicle." he announced.

She nodded and started toddling down the hall, "Tank you ARVIS." she replied, making her way to the stairs.

Natasha's attention was pulled from making breakfast by JARVIS calling out to her.

"Agent Romanoff, "The kiddie" is making her way to you, Captain Rogers."

She nodded, her lips slightly pursed in concentration, "Thank you JARVIS," she replied softly as she turned her attention to the doorway, waiting for the toddler's messy auburn curls to pop into her into her line of sight.

A few moments later, that exact sight came into her line of sight. She chuckled softly to herself at the sight of the four year old in her pink and white polka-dotted onesie and her messy bedhead curls. The toddler made a beeline to Steve who immediately knelt down and scooped her up, groaning like she was heavy and he held her up in the air.

He rubbed her cheek with his thumb, "Good Morning babygirl," he greeted softly.

She yawned and hugged his neck, "Monin' Tebe."

He rubbed her back as he adjusted his arm to where it was behind her legs to keep her balance, "You sleep well?" he asked, his voice still soft.

She nodded, "Uh huh."

He chuckled softly, "That's good," he replied softly; he started walking over to the ridge where Addie's juice boxes were.

He pulled on out, poking the straw in with one hand before handing it to her. "Here you go babygirl." he announced, easily falling back into the routing that they'd created when she was first at the compound.

She eagerly took the box of apple juice, "Tank you Tebe." she replied happily before biting on the straw.

Natasha sighed softly at him, "Please don't ruin her breakfast," she called, giving him a pointed look.

He chuckled, walking over to her and pressing a gentle kiss on her cheek, "Don't worry sweetheart, " he replied softly, "It's just to keep her occupied while we cook." He leaned closer to her so he could whisper in her ear, "I gave her the mini ones so she won't get full."

She laughed softly, nodding her head, "Okay....but just one." she replied.

He nodded, pressing another gently kiss against her cheek, "You're the boss." he replied softly
