You guys explore the small room at the base of the stairs after turning on the lights. You study a little mansion model while Leon grabs a few things. You follow him over to the elevator next, and you two head down. The basement is an echoy with its concrete walls and metal. "Well, this isn't creepy."
Leon chuckles quietly and heads down to the lowest floor, "You got that right." He tries a gated door, but it doesn't budge. Walking over to a huge case, you study the keyhole and then pull out the stars badge you had used that also was a USB drive.
Putting the drive away, you insert it, and the case pops open, "That's cool." You grab the handgun part out, Leon having joined you.
"OH sweet! I can use that with my gun!" He fiddles with the gun for a second, then smiles and shows it off, pointing it at the ground, "Now it has a longer barrel."
Smiling at his goofy ass you nod, "Cool, let's get moving, MacGyver." Leon smiles and follows you back up the stairs and through the opened doorway you had seen before. Another woman stands there, "Claire!" You rush over and hug the girl.

laire hugs you back, "Thank God! I looked around and found some things before I saw all the discs already in the statue. The man, Marvin, told me you guys had just gone down here!"
Leon smiles, "Good to see you. I'm glad you caught up with us!"
Claire nods to Leon, "Me too. Thanks for leaving me a few of these guns. They're sweet!" She and Leon talk about the guns and you zone out, walking ahead of them. Pounding feet sound above you on the walkway, and you look up.
"What the hell?" You pull your knife out quickly and move aside as Leon rushes forward.
"Let me lead." He readies his gun. Claire stays behind you. Not having to watch as many places is nice. Now that there are six eyes between you, the skies are the limit.
You walk out onto a walkway overlooking some big waterheating looking equipment. Leon stops beside you to look at it. "Think these lead anywhere useful?" You ask him.
Leon shrugs. "I hope so."
He jerks around as do you, when Claire says, "Hey, hey, it's OK, we won't hurt you." She's crouched in front of a downed cabinet. Walking over to her, you start to say, "Here I can help you lift -" You hear a little girl scream, and then turn around as Claire stands quickly. Leon has also turned as a huge monster of a man with a bulging arm, roars. An eye rolls around the arms socket, and Claire steps closer to Leon, who dodges the giant claw that rips up the floor. You stumble as the gated floor beneath Leon creates a rumbling as its ripped from the concrete floor you're on. Claire unfortunately was also standing on the gated floor, also falling down with the creature and Leon.
"LEON! CLAIRE!" You scream down as you see them rise to their feet. The monster is also rising.
"WE GOT THIS, HELP THE GIRL!" Claire calls up to you before she runs off behind some machinery, Leon follows after her.
Turning around, you see the little girl through the cabinet. She is covering her eyes. Walking over to the cabinet, you study it for a second, then put your shoulder against it and push with all your might. It slowly goes up, but you're able to right it. "Hey, it's gonna be OK, my friends are gonna kill the monster. I'm Sera, what's your name?" You ask after you've crouched in front of her. You look back at a loud bang but then turn back to her.
"I'm Sherry..." she sniffles, and you help her up with a smile. "Sherry? Sherry Berkin?" How you didn't immediately recognize the girl you always babysit you don't know, but you're so happy to see her.
Sherry hugs you, "Sera, I'm so scared. I'm trying to find my mom and that.... that was my dad." She sobs into your shirt as you hold her. Looking back, you realize she's right. The man's head was William Berkin.
"Shit..." You whisper to yourself before shaking out of your thoughts. "Sherry, it's gonna be OK, we'll find your mom. Can you walk?"
She nods as she wipes her tears, "O-ok..." You give her a big smile.
"You're very brave, thank you."
You start out the doorway and hear, "Sera!" You rush over to where the yelling is coming from and smile down at Leon and Claire standing below a raised ladder, "Can you lower the ladder?"
"Yeah, one sec." Walking over to it, you inspect it before kicking the lever that was slightly broken. It works, surprisingly, and lowers down. You wait by Sherry as the two climb up. "Glad to see you both alive." Your smile couldn't get brighter.
Leon chuckles, "Yeah, we are too. He fell over a ledge, so we won't be seeing him again."
Claire nods, "OH good, you found the little girl." Sherry clutches onto your shirt.
"Yeah, this is Sherry, I babysit her for her parents a lot. She's trying to find her mom." Leon smiles to the girl as does Claire. "Sherry, this is Leon and Claire. Claire used to live here. Her brother is Chris. Leon is a new cop."
Sherry, let's go of you and smiles to Leon and Claire, "You're Chris's sister?"
Claire nods, "That's right. I came here to look for him." Sherry nods her head.
"Come on, we should get moving." Leon finally says before taking the lead. Leaving Sherry with Claire, as she's already asking her questions, you walk beside Leon.
"Are you guys ok?" He nods his head and shakes out his shoulders.
"Just taking it in." He chuckles, "How about you?"
You roll your eyes, "Just taking it in." He chuckles again and nods.
"Fair enough." You smile over at the man as he heads into a control room.
"It wouldn't budge..." Sherry says as she points at the lever. Leon grabs it and pulls it down with some effort.
"Those muscles are coming in handy." You joke, making Sherry and Claire chuckle. Leon goes beat red before chuckling as well.
"Glad to be of use." You guys share a smile before following Claire, with an excited Sherry, who already ran ahead, over the bridge that moved into place.
Heading over to the ladder and manhole, Claire starts up, checking first the coast is clear. Before you let Sherry go up. Before you can start climbing, Leon grabs your arm, "Wait, I think I dropped my knife. I'm going back to get it."
Looking up at the manhole you nod to Leon, "OK, let's go find it then."
Leon shakes his head, "No, it's fine. Go up with the girls."
Claire's face appears as he says, "You two better not be passionate kissing."
You blush and flip the girl off. "Leon dropped his knife. we're gonna go find it. Just wait up there for us."
Claire salutes, "Aye Aye, be quick, I'd like to leave this fucking station."
Leon nods and turns around you quickly follow after him, ignoring how he also blushed at Claire's joke.
