G Sample

You guys reach the main shaft area and start across the walkway to the other side. You see Claire coming from the area where Sherry was. "Claire!" She smiles and rushes over to you both.
"It's so good to see you! I'm heading to the west area to get the cure for Sherry."
Leon nods, "We'll come with you. We need to get the G-Virus for Ada."
Claire glances at you but nods, "Okay, let's go then!"
You all start towards the west area. You give Claire a brief rundown of what happened to them, and then she tells you guys what happened to her and Sherry.
"We barely missed you in the sewers then. I'm surprised you didn't see Ada in the trash heap."
"That's so annoying. I had to fight berkin before I could get Sherry. Barely survived."
"We saw the wreckage." Leon heads into the darkend lab area. "Damn, we need the power bank..."
Claire pulls it out and fiddles with some nobs, then puts it in, "Yeah, I've had to turn on all the lights."
You chuckle, "You've really been our hero. Our journey has been so relaxing."
Claire pulls a face, "I've had to kill so many zombies and shit its ridiculous..."
Leon shrugs, "You do have the better guns..."
She glares at him. "You get to do the rest, pretty boy."
You smile. Everything feels like it'll work out soon enough. You read through the computer over Leon's shoulder as he studies the emails about William. Claire's checking her guns and reloading. Leon nods, "Alright, let's go get our vials."
He goes first, and Claire follows after you. You head through the decontamination hallway and in through the doors. You shiver at the huge room beyond and across the walkway. Heading through the other doors, you see a bunch of samples suspended in glass. "Creepy..."
Claire whispers behind you. You nod with a shiver. Leon checks out the small room off to the left, and Claire goes over to the place with the vials. She studies the indent below. She pulls out the Pendant from before and inserts it.
The case in front of the vials opens. You look over as Leon comes up. Claire has already grabbed the antiviral. "Now to get this to Sherry."
Leon grabs the other vial that says 'G-Virus', "Huh, that was easy... Back to Ada."
You groan, "Leon, don't say that. You're gonna jinx -"
A siren starts to blare, "Attention: Unauthorized removal of a level 4 virus was detected. Facility lockdown initiated. Self-destruct sequence will begin when the lockeown is complete." You give Leon a look, and Claire groans.
"Seriously, dude? Come on!"
Leon gives you guys a sheepish look, "Sorry... but we need it." You all rush out through the decontamination hallway and back to the room with the big walkway. You guys reach the other side, but before you can go through the doors, the ceiling caves in.
"Shit!" You all say turning to stare at William Berkin in an even worse mutated state.
"You again!?" Claire groans as she holds up her gun, Leon following suit.
"Move! He's mine!" Annette comes up on your left limping forward. She holds up some sort of gun. "This has to end!" She shoots the gun at William, spraying something all over him. He roars in pain.
"What the hell is going on?!" Leon asks, keeping his gun ready.
"Sorry William, you've left me no choice." She moves closer and reloads the gun and shoots him again. Another roar escapes. He falls to the floor, dead.
You stay back near the doors, and you're not risking it. You watch Annette and Leon walk closer to inspect it. Claire followed closer but kept her distance. Leon asks a question to Annette but you're too far back to hear anything but mumbling. Leon stands and looks at Annette, "Then tell me everything, from the start."
Annette starts to explain what happened with William and how he injected himself with G to stop the troops from taking his research.
"So you made this monster." Leon scoffs, pointing at William.
You look over as its eye moves, "Um, guys!"
Williams arm reaches out and grabs Annette. "Holy shit!" Claire and Leon stare in shock as William crushes Annette and then throws her. You barely move before she hits you. You watch in horror as he mutates, further growing a new arm. He swipes at Leon.
He dodges quick enough, "What the hell!"
"Leon!" You yell. Claire rushes over to you and hands you the vial of antiviral.
"Go, help Sherry. Leon and I can deal with this fucker." Annette gets up and pushes a button lowering the walkway down.
"What are you doing?!" Leon yells facing off with William. Claire jumps onto the lowering platform.
"We can't let him get away!" Annette yells. Claire and Leon drop below.
You grasp the vial and then rush over to Annette as gunshots sound below.
"Come on, help me get this to Sherry." She's holding her side but nods to you. You help her out the doors and over to the other side where Sherry is. Annette and you work in tandem to grab a needle and get it into Sherry. Annette is stumbling around barely standing. You help her sit and she lays down holding Sherry's hand.
You deliberate what to do. Looking through your stuff you find a couple grenades. With a nod you rush back to where the others are fighting. Standing up top you call out, "Grenade!" Before throwing it down onto Berkin. You can barely see but Claire and Leon move. It explodes making the monster roar in pain. Claire and Leon keep shooting the eyes on him.
"Grenade!" You yell again before throwing another. They move again, and when you've thrown the last one, Claire and Leon shoot the last eye out. William stops with a roar and pulses before his chest explodes, where the eyes are located.
Leon and Claire high five before heading up the lift in the corner. Leon rushes over and hugs you. You laugh as Claire joins. "We did it!!"
They both nod, "Thanks for the grenades. It slowed him down enough to help us get a shot!" Leon smiles down to you after pulling back. You glance at Claire to hide your blush.
"I'm glad you're both ok... Come on, Sherry should wake up any minute."
You guys rush back to Sherry's room.
Annette wakes as you rush in. Sherry is starting to sit up. Claire runs over and asks Annette if Sherry will be ok, helping the girl sit up.
"She'll be weak for awhile but yes. She's free of the G-Virus." Annette says. She looks at Leon.
He's bursting to interrogate her you can feel it. She starts to fall over and Leon rushes over. "Destroy that G sample." Annette grasps Leon's arm.
"I can't, its evidence for the FBI..." Leon says. Sherry runs over beside her mom.
"You trust that bitch? She's a mercenary. She'll sell it." Leon looks unsure and starts to argue, but you stop him with a hand on his shoulder as she grabs Sherrys hand. He looks up at you and you shake your head.
He looks back, understanding your intention.
"Don't worry about me. Get my daughter to safety." She hands a wristband to Claire who kneeled beside Sherry. "I'm so sorry, Sherry. For everything. You're life is what's important now -" She gasps in pain. She's gasping for air from her crushed lungs.
"We can't just leave her here!" Sherry looks at Claire. You glance up at the blaring alarm getting more urgent.
"We have to go!" You help Leon stand and Claire helps Sherry up. She's speaking to her soothingly.
You guys rush out and back to the main Shaft heading for the elevator.
