Lying in your childhood bed was a strange feeling, it was weird that nothing seemed to have changed. At least according to your foggy memories, there was not even a layer of dust on anything.

Dinner with your parents and brother had been stilted, to say the least. Goku was more focused on how much food he could shove down his throat and Chi-chi was overbearing. Constantly asking if you had enough food and passing you more before you could respond.

It did not help that you had to wear some of their old clothes, since your old ones did not fit. The clothes you had been given hugged your body in a way you were not comfortable with, not that you had much of a choice. Pulling at your shirt uncomfortably you, let out a sharp huff of annoyance.

Rolling over you forced your eyes closed, wanting to get your nightmares over with and stop overthinking your life. It was not long before your body went limp and sleep took you. Your body felt weird as your eyes fluttered open, you did not see any mangled bodies which was new.

Glancing around at your surroundings, there were several tents and what looked like construction happening a little ways away. There also were not any sounds coming from the forest around you, which only made the whole thing weirder. Carefully you walked forward, taking in the campsite, one tent at the far end of the clearing caught your attention. You moved closer to it, and a chill ran up your spine; turning you locked eyes with someone you never expected to see again.

Before you could process what was going on he surged forward grabbing you by the wrists, "I didn't know!"

You let out a sharp hiss, trying to pull away from him; his grip turning your wrists red, "Let go, you're hurting me."

"I didn't know what he did," Frieza's grasp on your wrists held firm.

"What?"

"I didn't know about the device Father put in you."

You swallowed thickly, "What were we there to do?"

Frieza stilled, "...ᴷᶦˡˡ ᵗʰᵉᵐ..."

"Excuse me?"

"I was there to kill them!" He shouted, "Are you happy now?"

You stared, watching him silently as he raved.

"I wanted to murder that monkey's friends, he humiliated me so I was going to take what was precious from him!"

"What would that have done to help you?" You snapped, Frieza paused, "Killing them would've only made him angry, you have a death wish or something I should know about?"

"No, I—"

"Never mind none of this matters anyways, this is a dream, you aren't real," You muttered, gently taking his hand in yours.

"What are you talking about? This is literally HFIL," Frieza muttered, looking up at you in confusion.

"I don't know what that is but okay."

Frieza froze, "Wait—what are you doing down here?!"

You stared at him in confusion, "I don't know what you're talking about, I'm in bed sleeping right now."

"Do you usually dream of HFIL?"

"Still don't now what that is, but... no...?" Your tone was questioning, since you were not clear on what was going on, "I usually just dream about loved ones dying."

Bay was on the floor a hole straight through her head, blood pooling around her. Chavs was next to her, his arms torn from his body and thrown to the side, his head lulling backward.

"Why did you do this to us?" They both moaned out in sync.

"It wasn't my fault!"

The blood on your hands told a different story, thick liquid crawled up your arms, dripping in hot strands. They were screaming in tandem, you were too—

Your name was on Frieza's tongue, drearily you blinked, that never happened before, "Are you okay, you kinda went blank for a moment."

"Huh? Oh—yeah I'm fine," You mumbled, wiping your hands on your pants.

Silence hung over the clearing for a long moment, you finally took a good look at Frieza, he was missing the metal plates he had before. He looked just like how you remembered when you had seen him in the infirmary, minus the injuries of course. The sound of other people stirring reached your ears, you realized that you were not alone. Frieza's once calm expression hardened, unconsciously you leaned away from him.

"You are they?" You questioned glancing around the tent to see if you could peek at them.

Before you could Frieza grabbed you by the upper arm, making it so you could not look, "Other people banished to HFIL, like me."

"You never explained with HFIL is..."

Frieza made a face before giving up and telling you what it meant, "HFIL stands for 'Home for Infinite Losers' which was founded because normal Hell could not handle our power levels."

"Oh—" You held your head in your hands, "This is such a bizarre dream."

"...This isn't a dream, this is real, we are in HFIL right now," Frieza tried to explain, "Here—"

His words were cut off by another voice, "Lord Frieza is having a mental breakdown," A strange alien muttered.

"Get the stick," Someone else mentioned.

"Lord Frieza does not get mental breakdowns," He shouted over his shoulder, glaring at someone further away.

You felt strange for a moment, before you blinked the next moment you were back in your childhood room. You jumped out of bed, you needed to get out of this house; the walls loomed over you. There was no where for you to go, the card on your nightstand blared up at you. There was one place you could go.
