LEO's POV
I'm here inside the car I was calling Jade but she's not picking up, did she forgot that we will have dinner?, I went inside the company I went to the receptionist
"hi Miss ,may I know where I can find Jade Stevenson's Office?"
the girl just pause for a while and look at me I wave my hands to her
"uhm Miss? Are you alright?"
she nods in embarrassment
"oh yes I'm sorry sir can I get your name ?"
"it's Leo Mathew Davis "
the girl gasp
"oh my god Mr. Davis my apologies, Ms. Jade's office is on the 17th floor "
I bow at her and smile
"thank you, I'll go ahead"
. the elevator opened and I saw a lady in the corridor walking
"uhm excuse me, can I ask where would be Ms. Jade Stevenson's office"
the Lady looks at me then gasp
"oh Mr. Davis, she's still in the meeting you can wait for here in her office"
the Lady leads me to her office, what a busy lady, she's still in the meeting at this hour, I just sat down as I wait for her, I roam my eyes in her office, she's really organized with white elegant walls and silver décor, my eyes lands on a certain picture , it was me and her when we where kids, she still has these? I spot another photo it's their college graduation picture, they really made it, too bad I was not here also Irene. I breathe heavily when someone enters the room
"Lee, I'm so sorry for making you wait "
she hurriedly put her files on her table as I look back at her
"take your time Jade it's okay, I can wait forever you know"
I chuckle as I curse my self for telling that, I'm so corny.
After our dinner I asked her to walk to the park beside the river, I notice that she was cold, I took off my coat and slide it to her.
" do you want to go home now, ?"
she look at me and shake her head
" thanks for the dinner Lee, I enjoyed it"
I put my hands behind my head
"good to know that, uhm Jade?"
she looks at me while smiling
"can I ask you something?"
she stop walking
"what is it?"
I took a deep breath, this is it , I will start winning you back, I hope I will make you mine again
" you always tell me your sorry, you always say thank you, but I never say anything about it, you know when I remembered everything, you were the one I first think of ., I want to come back to you, but I was too late, that was the chance for me to take a step forward to rebuild my self, I was happy seeing you for the first time after I went back, Jade, I'm sorry too for making you wait, I'm sorry for leaving you behind, I'm sorry for everything, I never wanted to go back here because I thought your already happy, I'm so sorry for abandoning you"
I look down as tears began to fall, I felt hands on my cheeks and her thumb wiping my tears, I look at her ,when I also saw her crying
" as what I have said before it's no ones fault, if that would happened again , I will still choose your safety than fighting for our love , I rather see you alive than dying slowly, I can't take that Lee, I won't allow that, your most important to me that I will endure the pain just for you to be okay,"
