HELLO MAGAZINE: today her royal highness princess leonor after officially announcing her engagement to prince william of wales, will return to spain to continue her studies as a lady cadet at the military academy to try some important maneuvers in her training, as we know the training military is a fundamental rite of passage for members of the spanish royal family, a tradition that underlines the close relationship between the monarchy and the country's armed forces and like his father King felipe he immediately made it clear that his eldest daughter Princess leonor, heir to the throne, is no exception.

Trainer: cadets, cadet ladies, as you well know, today's training will focus on rescue and attack maneuvers, it is important to save innocent lives from an attack without killing and being killed, attending today's training there will be an important person and a public and historical figure, please welcome his majesty the King

Felipe: good morning to all cadets and cadet ladies, for me it is a real honor to witness your training for two main reasons: the first is that i can see up close the training and progress of my daughter leonor and the second is that seeing you all wearing the your uniforms reminds me of when i was your age and i was in your place, i wish you good luck in today's training

HELLO MAGAZINE: the King took advantage of his stay in the nearby ski resort to make a detour and meet the Princess of Asturias, immersed in demanding military maneuvers. we see princess leonor, acting as the perfect hostess for her father, who wore an army uniform and with great pride, King felipe carefully observed his daughter's every movement, immersed in the demands of the academy's activities.

Felipe: i didn't know you learned so quickly honey, especially how to handle weapons and all the necessary tools, needless to say that your mother and i couldn't be more proud of you, of your commitment to training, of the life you're building for yourself alone and the young woman you are becoming day after day

Felipe: the only advice i can give you is not to keep the rifle pressed too much on your shoulder because you risk hurting yourself a lot and then, knowing you, it could slip due to your clumsiness

HELLO MAGAZINE: one of the most significant moments for Princess leonor during the surprise visit to the military academy of her father the king, was certainly the handshake not only as king-heir but as father-daughter as we can see the admiration in the eyes of the princess as daughter and the pride and pride in the eyes of the king as father

Felipe: i am honored to have been able to witness the training of our future spanish armed forces, i am sure that all spaniards will be grateful for the commitment and dedication to the physical effort it takes to get by in the academy

HELLO MAGAZINE: for lunch the cadets and the king ate a rich seafood paella as the main course, accompanied by hake loin in green sauce for dessert everyone enjoyed a fresh pear, along with the traditional bread and water. A complete and nutritious menu, designed to tackle intense training days, despite their royal status, King felipe and Princess leonor's shared experience at the San Gregorio Training Center was an example of the normality and closeness that characterizes the spanish royal family. This meeting allowed the king to witness first-hand his daughter's hard work and dedication in her military training, reaffirming the links between the royal family and the armed forces and highlighting princess leonor's commitment to her future royal  duties
